Welp, I finally got the memory stick for my Sony CyberShot F828 camera, so I decided I'd go take some pics. I'm fucking amazed by the quality to say the least. 8 megapixels of goodness.

I took some pics of the Panaeolus subbalteatus growing in my patch and a few other random mushrooms from the woods. These images will get even better as time goes by and I learn the new camera. A tripod wouldn't hurt either... damn these shakey hands.

Yeah... Had to get a new cam because of the fire. =\

I guess the camera upgrade was one advantage to having all my shit destroyed :P

The F828 is the new version of mine...(F717)

That thing just looks sweet. I like it.

You'll love it more and more each day. You get used to how it takes pictures and whatnot...But the pictures above look awesome. For some reason, when you take a picture with the flash, it loooks a lot better.

I've noticed that as well, but I've run into problems with the flash. The lens is so damn long/big that I get shadows from the lens casing if I take the pics too close. I love how the body rotates. You can set the cam on the ground and rotate the body up so that you don't have to lay on the ground to focus the picture. Tis neat.

Yeah, the swivel design is part of the reason I bought mine. Its great for taking pictures of mushrooms.

Yep, that is pretty much the only problem with this design. Im a little suprised that they did not fix that problem with the F828!! Its pretty strange.

You know this already, but, you just have to get further back and optically zoom into the subject rather than taking a picture right next to it. Which is annoying at first, but you get used to it after a while! :smile:

Man, you'll be getting better quality than this!!

wish i could find some maneure pan subbs, i only find lawn ones. oh, i found 1 sub on a maneure pile once.
