have you done hawaiians invitro ?
it's just that i'm rather surprised to hear you say that. last year i grew several batches of hawaiians and had no problems getting them to pin invitro, although they were birthed to finish fruiting.
i'm fairly confident the hawaiians will do fine, or i would not have just made 24 jars of it.
we'll see.

I've done only 4 test jars and only 1 pinned 2 stems. Pf even claims that they won't do vary well this way either. And I'm not sure what hippie say's about it. But maybe you have found conditions just right and that s why it's working for you. May I ask how you do your substrate like how much water are you using BRF/verm. how about the temp. I only did one test but may try it again with this strain. thanks

hmm... i thought pf said it did work.
i use the max fruit formula, 1/2 c. verm., 1/4 c. ground rice, and 1/4 c. water.
i keep temp near 80*F
one problem is drawing conclusions from small batches.
that's why i always do at least 24 jars when i test something.
some cakes are just duds and some kick ass.
it's the averages that need to be considered.

ps-- i'm really hippie in disguise.

cool hip, no what I was saying was I read on PF's site awhile back where he said that the he hasn't seen the hawaiians do vary well invirto. this was awhile back and I could be wrong. no disrespect to PF. him and you are one of the best of our time. thanks for info. by the way I have 3 pes hawaaiins I got from pf in a jar right now so I'll try it again. maybe last time I think i was using the min. fruiting formula this time I'm using the max.
