My New Cacti
    #2777608 - 06/09/04 12:17 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

Sorry for the horrible image quality but I found this guy to be rather amazing! A monstrosus Penis Cacti and a cristate in one! hehe
This is a Tricho Bridgessi correct?
And just for fun here is my new Schotti as well!

Hope someone enjoys them as much as I do!

Yeah, I think so. The guy at the greenhouse told me it was from a cutting so I would assume thats what it is =). I hope its not the plague... LoL

Harvey, if you read this again.....
Is it common for a cactus to take both the monstrose and cristate form? I have never personally seen anything like this before.

I've seen specimines go in and out of cresting, but I've never seen one go from a crest to a monstrose. (not to say it couldnt happen, but) I dont know wether you have a really rare specimine, or a jig saw cactus...

It does appear as if the monstrose has pupped off of the crest. I'm trying to get a picture of it as I type this..... if only photoshop would be a little nicer sometimes.....
I'll post the pic in a few.....
