Nice, I almost almost bought one of those Invictus. Good looking knife

I'm heading back to Michigan after my pick up in Colorado Springs this morning and I'll be going through Troy, Illinois on my way back. I know I shouldn't but I'm going to stop in to GP knives store. Probably spend more money than I should lol

I'll most likely finally get an OTF knife, I been looking at those Heretic Manticore knives, probably grab an Olight or Streamlight flashlight too

Hey mycosis, have you seen those little pocket titanium pry bars from LynchNW? They're pretty slick, just wondering if maybe you have one and if so do you like it? They fucking sell out really fast, it's hard to get one.

How do they compare to the Microtech's?

I've had my eye on one of those for a while..

NKD (well, it'll be here on Monday or Tuesday, but I've just purchased it): Victorinox One-Handed Trekker, 111mm; I'm fairly certain this is going to be my main trail/foraging blade:

I'm absolutely loving it. It's my new go-to yard/trail blade. It's larger than your standard SAK in both blade size and saw size, so it's way more useful for bushcraft stuff. I actually went out into my yard yesterday afternoon and managed to find a couple of nice, dry sticks of decent thickness to test the knife out on. Sawed right through no problem, whittled down one end to a point and made a tarp stake, etc. It'll do just fine.

I also picked up a Pioneer X, which will now be my SAK EDC after carrying The Huntsman for almost two years now:

I realized all I really need is the scissors, cap lifter/driver bits, and the blade. The awl on this model is beautiful, too. With the Trekker as the new trail beater blade, I need something classy and durable to pull out of that front shirt pocket daily! I'm happy. I love Victorinox!

Isn't there a way you can order a SAK in the exact blade/gadget configuration you want?

I realized my behavior was becoming impulsive and gay, Knives were one of the few things I would waste my money on.
A while back, I sent an old abused Buck 110 in for the $10 reblade, and the fuckers sent me a new one instead of doing what I payed them for. I was going to go on a tirade about its sentiment and stuff. And the new one had a blade that wasn't ground properly. I was pissed.

Then I realized "why the fuck do I care so much?" Lifes too short to worry about that silly little shit.
Ya know, if it was that sentimental it wouldn't have needed a reblade. And They're a big company, and I didn't exactly specify. And the blade being ground wonky, ya know it was probably some kid learning how to do it right at his new job. Or a worker that was just fuckin tired. I don't want to be a karen about it.

So I kept the knife and my mouth shut. Told my self it was just a knife, And I haven't taken it off my belt since last year. Its the longest I've carried one particular knife in while. Really don't need much of nothin else. Just old school cool, and I've made it my own. The ebony scales they're using now look real swell. Can't help but love it. Keep it US Made, I'm Happy to support and carry a BUCK.

Got a new Morakniv basic. Really well made for a $10 knife.

Not the usual blades in this thread, but I also picked up this silky folding saw for clearing trails and processing firewood.

Moras are fantastic value for the money, they not just are good knives, but their carbon steel takes a razor sharp edge. Its a brilliant practical use knife for those who sharpen their own knives. a sturdy knife of cheap razorsteel.

Great choices. A lot of my friends bring hatchets or machetes, then they end up using my folding saw instead. A saw is just so much more practical for collecting firewood. Never understood why people want a big heavy blade.
