Day 9 and no germination. This is giving me major agar anxiety. Put some more spores in water on a stir plate. Hoping a week of that will lead to results.

Yay! Finally got some little shrooms poking up through the dense cloud cover. Not going to lie, I was getting pretty concerned. Today is a good day.

19-20 days since spawning, so not too bad. I’m very excited to grab a clone, and also try some overlay tea. That you Mojave, and everyone in this thread.
Edit: crazy side pinning. Never seen a tub with a liner make so many side pins.

I absolutely despise side pins and Nats are masters at this. Seems I'll have to be doing cakes to avoid shit like this, lol. My next sidepin harvest is almost due, but I want some prints this time (some caps made it out). First one was slightly over 2g of pins, which should be a strong trip based on what I've heard.
Also, seems like the Trich surgery has worked so far (wood knock).

A year has passed since the arrival of Natalensis in our region! A little harvest of delicious mushroom...

I am very happy about the success of our shroomers with this amazing mushroom!

I'm glad too! The spores reached hundreds of people. In Russia, this is a favorite mushroom!

Ehh I'm not sure about that. My first three trays overlaid then produced like three pins before eventually drying out or molding.
Even good cultures seem to take at least twice as long as cubensis, and very little reliability.
These have too many question marks for a "noob species" IME. Not like cubes where if it looks weird it's probably fucked.

Dunno, some interesting stabilized phenos (talking G7 or more) with desirable traits and easy grow conditions could really hit it. I'm starting to work on one I like now but it takes a while. The closer to the wild source you go the more weird shit it has in store, which is amazing but it sure doesn't make them an easy grow.

Everyone in my little piss pot town decided to turn their AC on at the same time today, and so I’ve been without power for over 8 hours. It is 80f in my house, and I’m annoyed, but my Nats seem to like it. A lot of growth since noon today. Hard to tell through the cloud cover, but it may be a decent pinset for MSS + a bunch of side pins.

Noob friendly because of how tolerant to neglect this species seems to be IME Plus the overlay is active

You’ve done a great job maintaining that overlay, usually mine end up all bruised and nasty looking
What’s up angam!! I was wondering why you only had 3 posts lol, that sucks to lose your account with so much pictures and history.
