Day of Hunting

Hi everyone, So I thought I'd post some pictures I got from today.
I didn't find any actives but still a nice few hours walking around and cool stuff to enjoy.

So this is obviously a Pine forest, has lots of bracken and blackberry bushes.

I was really excited to see an abundance of life, even though it wasn't what I was targetting

So I think these are the Fly Agaric ? Toxic to consume.

These guys had my attention from afar growing on dead fallen pine.

I'm hoping next time out will be better for subs, although not having a car makes it difficult at best.
Pretty sure these will unalive you.

Anyway these are some of my finds as a new hunter. And if anyone is heading into the hills and wants some company hit me up 🙂 I can walk all day long 😂
This is my first post like this so let me know if it's good or what ever.
Stay safe everyone. Keep an eye out for those pesky blue and red disco lights and just remember, 👇👇👇👇👇

Lovely first post 👌
Nice Amanita muscaria and maybe the little brown ones are Galerina, not sure.
Happy hunting, you’ll find some soon! Also, check out the damp, ferny, eucalypt forests if there are any nearby

Cheers mate! I just read bobs amazing guide and think I'll try closer to lofty instead of kuit.... I mean this pine forest lol.
And I noticed lots of eucalyptus and bracken areas but they seems much dryer and didn't notice much activity at all. So I stuck with the pine.

Quick check says they're not poisonous ? Still good to discourage others from eating them as they do look similar to toxic ones.. I think

None of the Laccaria species are poisonous. None of them are worth eating, either.
-------------------- Happy mushrooming!

Nice 👍 didn’t think they looked much like Galerina, but had no idea what they were.
