Under a month to go till opening day. Going to an opening day game is a rush. A massive party. Was in San Diego for the Padres last year and was a lot of fun.
I love the NFL and NBA but with the MLB, just love playing the game. Though softball nowadays. It is not rushed, tickets are affordable, national pastime. Is great to be outdoors when warm and the vibe of cities for it. Others are cold as shit but that is April.
My team will suck again this year but whatever. Is great to see great teams and players, especially pitchers come into town.
NFL QB's people put all the emphasis on but no, baseball fans get it that a pitcher, even with his teammates can completely make them next to irrelevant and is an amazing thing to watch. I love 1-0 games.
Coors field, blah. But on with the season. If only the N.L. would go back to no D.H. would be great. Lot more strategy. Yet glad Spring Training is starting and then the games continue.

Let the season begin. Will have a sign for the Rockies with getting rid of Arenado for 12 game playing Bryant and paying the Cards to take the contract because he is a shit player of course reading fuck you Monfront.
God he looked good in the the WBC.
Will be the same favorites this year but opening day for the Reds and the Pirates is always special meaning it could be worse I just don't get it.
But anywhere one goes it is a great party. Enjoy it people. Last year was San Diego. The only place in California that is still habitable.
Lot of fun though. And like last year no Tatis Jr. Fuck off. Just a bit of a different reason. BEAT L.A.! No one will in the N.L. West as they have a billion to spend but everyone in mid-market to the complete destitute ones can always hope throughout the league!
Really they should just get rid of 4 teams that are basically Minor League teams. Thank God Colorado still plays something watchable as mid-tier finance and talent wise.
On with the games.

I really like the pitch clock. Not sure about the other ones. Definitely not a fan of the runner on second in extras. My Braves are stacked, can't wait to see the Mets when they come to town.

Wow. I thought you were gone from the shroomery. Netherlands, tough WBC. Glad to have you back posting about baseball.
I agree though, some rule changes are great others, while the players adjust and the extra inning b.s. I don't.
Playing baseball in my youth, softball now, I loved 18 or 19 inning games. MLB is not the NFL. It sucks like the N.L. getting the D.H. Ruins strategy and of course responsibility for any pitcher but I disliked the A.L. for it.
The ads on the mounds and the jerseys and the baseball bases soon and behind the wall and on the fences as always and the only thing left is face tats of corps on the players. COMING SOON! And the MLB players association will strike anyway.
Greed is good! Tickets going down, lol. Just up. Gordon Gecko GIF as I don't want to try to find it.
Universe doesn't care about sports. Time to watch some Ash vs. evil. Is great to laugh when corporate greed sucks up a game one loves. Evil.
Arenado was awesome in the WBC but we have Bryant here in Colorado to come see! Like and NFL season and his 151 million guaranteed he will play 12 games a season. But the NFL is at 17 so with that many thank you for any game he shows up in during a season.
Like seeing a rare bird on top of a majecstic mountaintop. Legend, but an appeareance is made like bigfoot but he is the size of, less than sasquatch.

What ever happened to the great baseball thread people? They are all gone. Used to talk about the WBC, the season and teams.
Now it is, a blank void deep into space filled with M's. I miss them yet sports bars and vacations and airport bars. Thank God.

BASEBALL IS BACK BABY. Go Twinkies! Just got SMOKED by the Rays, who would have thought they’d be THIS good… What other teams should I watch out for? Who’s pulling for who around the shroomery these days?

Haha shit but look at your division. Last place with a 33-34 record, crazy. Toronto is 37-30 sitting second to last. Rays are on one, so are the orioles. The Yankees are just the Yankees, always can be unreal. Tough division. Ours is SHIT

Yeah, you might be watching ball in October, I have no chance with the Sox, but I knew that anyways. The owners trying to spend like this is a small market team in any other division probably isn't going to get anything in the AL East, notably Tampa Bay is and has been an exception to this because their scouting is out of this world.

Meh last year they got our hopes up and then shit the bed. Hopefully this years different. Ya rays are dialed. Holy CORREA! Walk-off 2 run doinker tonight, 7-5. If Correa can get his average up, he’d be worth every penny. Still happy to have him after nights like these lol.
