New to growing and this bin doesn't look like the rest of them. What is it?

That's Trichoderma, Myc can still grow around Trichoderma. But Trichoderma can spread an take over your Tub if it's too strong. It looks like Cauliflower lol.

Trich grow temps are 80 Degrees an up; yet i've still seen Trich grow in below that.

I've once stopped Trichoderma cold shocking my Tub.

An tried to force fruit my Yields. Put it in a refrigerator for 12 hours, then took it out. An rest it. An it started to fruit around the Trich. The Yield was bullshit but it still fruit; but had some aborts. Tub still got bad contam an had too toss it after 2 flushes.

Mush Fruit temps are 55f to 75f degrees .
Trichoderma grow temps are around 80f + .

Usually if you see Trich an its spreading too fast an start to change from a bright white to different colors its time to toss that shit.

:whathesaid: trich.. I'll sometimes try and fruit if my tub is bacterial,  but if I see trich on my cakes or tubs I bury them outside to see if they'll produce anything outdoors.

Oh! I think I'll do that. Just cut it out, then, and bury it outside?

I'd just bury the whole thing.

I've got one spot in my garden for used substrate that hasn't contaminated, and another area in my yard where I bury anything that's contaminated... idk if there's much point keeping them separated,  but I feel better not burying contams in the garden.
