spot right now is under $21 so in a honest world for $105 you should have gotten 5 rounds
you can bet you paid premium, and this for generic rounds.

Ah hell, if we're sharing anyway... here are a handful of the silver rounds I'm holding. I also have some neat "legalize nature/cannabis" and "freedom girl" silver rounds, but I can't find the images at the moment.

Gold and palladium have treated me better as an investment vehicle.

the great thing about buying precious metals is that you exchange a piece of paper with a number on it for something that actually embodies the value of the number that was on the paper.
think about that one.
look at this tenner:

in 1928 there was literally a big lynching every weekend. People were upfront about what they didnt like.
this dollar was only acceptable as money, because you could take it to the bank and exchange it for ten dollars worth of gold, otherwise the people wouldnt have it. it says so on the bill.
They removed that, and everything went to sht since.
but if you think about it, if you buy gold coin at spot now, you are exchanging that shifty piece of paper for the gold they say its worth. So rather than spend money, you cash in a watered down gold certificarte for unadulterated gold.
Its fun to buy stuff Its fun to buy stuff in a way that adds to your factual wealth.
its the fun of buying a pretty gizmo in the knowledge that for the past 50 years, that gizmo gained 8% in dollar value per year and that this will dramatically increase because the are devaluing the dollar.
Here is a 400oz Good Delivery bar

isnt that a perfectly convenient storage method for $700,000 ? 70 packs of 100s in a nice little slab. 8% of that is $56,000 btw.
Fetishize that brick!
If you had one of those and everything crashged and burned, you cou;d buy a house, setup a portfolio, youre back in business as an investor. Or, retire to a gtropical paradise and fund it all the way to thge grave.
thats the power of a 400oz good delivery bar: as much money as the average human earns in their lifetime, sad but true ($10K/year)

Krugerrands are taxed in canada If I understand correctly because its 22k instead of 24k its considered jewelry not bullion
That adds an extra $300 on the $2500 price tag
I'm going to get a silver Krugerrand instead, stick to other gold not taxxed

I need to save some cash, I paid my rent a year in advance so I withdraw my rent every month ($500)and use that as my spending money, well I'm going to try and buy less and save most of it, maybe I can save 300 a month and in 3 months buy a kilo
I know a sub reddit where people sell cheap, cheaper than the dealers and mints, Im going to look there for kilos of silver, I saw one the other day for $750

i again point to PAXG tokenized gold as a shortterm savings piggy bank, where you can rapidly convert dollars into small units of near-spot gold. on average gold rises 8% a year, so in the 3 months you save for a kilo of silver that would be 2% or $18 increase, which you wont get on a savings account. If bad shit happens in the mean time, the price of silver AND gold will go up so you are still close to your objective. For me, if i transact today, its either gold in brinks vault or money in my bank on the next day. isnt that fast enough?
if there is a "bank holiday" ie acuta bank crisis, you can simply move around the banking system through the crypto suystem and pay for stuff that way.

Ah-ha! I found the cannabis coins from my "sample deck" straggling in a corner of the office... well tarnished over the past decade. Threw them in vinegar + baking soda for 15 minutes and polished with a paper towel prior to this photo, but I should probably have busted out the bona fide silver polish.

Sweet coin!
If you take a silver object and put it in water that has been made conductive with baking soda or salt, and you put aluminium foil in there so that it touches no metal, then leave it sitting for long, electricity will start flowing between the silver (noble) and the aluminium (not noble) resulting in the aluminium oxidizing and the silver reducing, so that the oxidized silver that tarnishes your silver actually deposits its silver content back to your silver object. if you clean much silver, it can actually save significant money as the silver ends up where it belongs, instead of dissolved.
If you had silver oxide, pure tarnish, mixed it with aluminium dust and light it, it would burn fast with a dazzling flame producing silver metal droplets and fine corundum, aluminium oxide. the wet salt method does it electrochemically.
