I have thought as deeply as I possibly can about this, without emotion, and only logic. Disagreements that imply or include rudeness, negativity, or insults will be ignored, as only someone who cannot think would disagree in that way.
The headlines calling Casey White "dangerous" are completely wrong. I think he has no intentions of endangering anyone at this point in time, although I'm sure he would protect Vicky using whatever is necessary. I'm sure that he would be willing to die fighting than to be sent back to prison for life. Vicky may also very likely be willing to die fighting than to be sent to prison. They may have it planned out as such that in the event that they are located by law enforcement, that they will both, at the same time use their weapons to kill and/or die fighting. I believe that Casey White "came to his senses" while in jail and realized that the crimes he committed were mistakes he made when he wasn't in the right state of mind.
A person who is angry, agitated, emotional, depressed cannot think in a way that is either logical or intelligent. When Casey White was in jail, he gradually lost what caused his anger and depression due to the chemical reaction taking place in his brain caused by the love he received from Vicky White. When Casey left the jail with Vicky that day, he was thinking more logically than he had thought in several years. I believe all he wants is to get away from what and who caused his state of mind to become the way it did before.
I don't believe Casey or Vicky will harm anyone unless they're prevented from escaping further. I believe that until Casey and Vicky are located, they are virtually harmless and probably won't even break the law. I believe that they only want to reach a particular location that will not provide the circumstances that will cause them to develop a state of mind similar to the one they had previously which led to Casey's anger, violence, and breaking the law or Vicky's depression or "bad side" that some people have mentioned.
I believe that Casey and Vicky provided mutual benefits to each other in the form of happiness, thinking more logically, and helping each other to stay in the right state of mind, avoid anger/depression. These mutual benefits gained would never have been produced any other way. Vicky considered life not worth living if she must live it without Casey. Casey owes his life to Vicky, and he is prepared to give his life for Vicky as soon he needs to. It is honestly absolutely amazing what they have done for each other. They deserve to be let go. They do not deserve to be incarcerated or punished any further, period.
I know that realistically, logic and intelligence will be ignored in favor of emotion due to the fact that people only allow themselves difficult, inconvenient, and not very effective/efficient ways of stimulating dopamine (which they also stimulate aimlessly doing things that don't help them to learn something valuable) thereby causing them to react to situations in life with thoughtless emotion instead of carefully planned actions based on logic and morals.
