Does this mycelium look ready to pin??
    #27760339 - 05/02/22 05:30 PM (2 years, 8 months ago)

First time cultivating blue meanies.  Using the bags you can purchase online.  My mycelium growth was terrific.  Now I’m trying to fruit, does this look good?  So far I see nothing.  I did have temp way to low but I raised to a constant 73*

Now you must be responsible with your blue meanies and not let them destroy the yellow submarine.

Has anyone ever poked a few holes in the bottom sides of the bag and put it in a water tub?  To keep the bulk nice and moist?  I just saw in another post where he put his tub in a water tub, the pins blew up.

Any thoughts out there?

For sure it´s a good idea to place it in a water tub.
I guess i´d have thrown some coir on top,
and fruit it right in the bag.

The plan is to fruit right in the bag.  How high should I make the water in the tub?  Then just set the bag right in it?  Advice is appreciated as this is my first attempt at this

That's not right, fruit from the bag and use the bag as the fruiting chamber.
No need for a water tub.

That was the plan.  I’m just hoping they start pinning soon, seems to be taking quite some time.  Was wondering if water tub would accelerate pins….

Patience is one of the most important things in this hobby... it'll start pinning when it wants to... unless you mess with it too much.. don't love it to death.

Looks like one just popped up!  Hopefully see a bunch now!  How long does it take from pinning to harvest ?  On average….

Okay might just be how the picture  looks... sometimes the pictures are deceiving... other than that it's looking good. Getting close to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

These seem to be doing fantastic.  My question this is about this white fuzzy looking stuff at the base of the stalk?  Is that Normal?  Almost looks like mycelium…..
What say the brain trust?
