Yeah we should trust the FBI they always know what's in our best interests and never lie!!!

Thank God for Big Brother, they always know what information to censor and what information the peasants should or should not be allowed to have access too. And clearly the people running Twitter before Elon Musk showed up were all straight-A class acts who would never bend over for the FBI based on propaganda and lies.

Lmfao the justifications that you guys come up with for this blatant, run-away, out of control corruption that is tearing our country apart, is hilarious.

The "intelligence community" is an irredeemable cancer that must be destroyed and its ashes scattered to the four corners of the Earth if this country is EVER going to de-corrupt itself and start actually serving the interests of the people rather than the interests of an elite few.

This is a pretty lazy solution to propose to someone who thinks something is wrong with the power structure in a country, especially in the US, where people with opposing views staying and participating in the democratic and sometimes undemocratic (protests/riots/wars) processes that help shape the countries path through history is pretty much the country's whole shtick. I'd prefer it be kept to democratic processes, but our history is what it is.

I think the whole point is that people like chopstick actually like their country, but dislike problems that exist within that country, and wish to improve it. In a functional democracy, that should ultimately lead to the country moving in the direction that the majority of citizens would like to see it going.

Packing up and leaving because you disagree with how things are run is not going to solve the problem, and in fact may exacerbate it.

If he has ever provided evidence (check his post history) then you may have a point. Every post is a rant about how everything is in shambles and it's a conspiracy of the highest order.

Heck for all I know he may think I'm a CIA plant here to provide misinformation.

I live in this country and truly appreciate that I get to vote in a wide variety of meaningful ways. And I can't say I see any evidence of the intelligence community being the determining factor in a single one of my votes.

I've had lengthy discussions about the shape of democracy with others. Chopsticks really isn't the guy to do that with. Fair warning.

Fair enough, I admittedly haven't interacted with chopsticks too much.

I also agree with your conclusion on the intelligence community, and share the frustration for people who think that literally everything is falling apart around us constantly and its a big conspiracy, but I can still go the bookstore or online and find any sort of controversial literature I can stomach (beyond active calls and plans to kill people or overthrow a government) with little to no apparent effort to censor it.

Thanks for the warning, hopefully I didn't make too big of an ass of myself jumping into a discussion and making a bunch of assumptions. :picard:

He's a regular in the politics forum. Which if you're into it, is a good place to check out actual dialogue on the content of the Twitter files.

No harm here at all. And it's not being an ass to stand up for discourse imo so good on ya

I mean technically the "country's whole shtick" is people leaving countries where something was wrong with the power structure in hopes of creating something better. Our system has been co-opted to the point of no return by corporate money, and people like chopstick's only solution to all of our problems is to turn america into a dictatorship, reinstate donald trump and hang dr fauci

The woman Elon Musk has reforming Twitter Trust and Safety believes that an adult can bang a child if the child says it’s ok. I actually thought she was a Twitter employee, but apparently she’s just an Elon dick rider with connections. Very popular with the “get the groomers” crowd

Remember, when you watch this clip, that she is the one right wingers think is going to clear out all the pedos and groomers.

Seems I must follow her to see the tweets. My attempt to follow this person is pending and they must accept my follow so I can't see it.

Which would seem that Koods follows this person and has been for a while. Why do you follow all these right wingers lol.

I don’t follow them. They just changed their settings. The woman in the video is one of the people Elon had working on the Twitter files and has free rein to moderate accounts. She has been banning accounts that post this video.

Hurry up before this one is taken down
