First, I wouldn't come to the Shroomery for your primary source of psychiatric advice.
Secondly, congrats on you successfully quitting cannabis if it was the right thing for you. It's not anywhere as easy as people who treat cannabis kind of vitamin or cure-all might suggest.
I'm going through the process right now myself, and have been off of it for about 6 months. Still miss it, but the downside of weight gain, de-motivation and exacerbated depressive symptoms wasn't worth the upside of not giving a shit about my problems when I was sufficiently ripped.
Not sure where you're writing from, but the situation in the US is ridiculous, and there are systemic problems that keep us from making sense of cannabis use and particularly what the issues are around removing it from your life if it becomes destructive. One is of course that it's still schedule 1 on the federal level meaning that good quality research is still very hard to do, while an increasing number of states are have some degree of legality in place, through which they're making billions in tax revenue. All of this and a whole lot more confusion ads up to a situation in which people in our place have a hard time getting any objective information.
I have a psychiatrist who is about as objective as anybody in that ethically and intellectually bankrupt field can be, and she's seeing an increasing number of people who are having all kinds of trouble with getting staying off cannabis. Anxiety issues, digestive problems, all of this is because we really don't understand how cannabinoids interact with various "downstream" effects in people, and how different these effects are for different people. I've been struggling with all that shit.
In my case, microdosing and once a month trips using psilocybin have helped. Your mileage will differ.
But I'd definitely try to seek out an enlightened medical professional to help you if you're still struggling.

Timothy Leary once said something along the lines of: the fastest way to change how the world reacts to you is to change how you react to the world.

Do you exercise at all?

You should watch Chappelle 24/7 until you no longer think it's possible to be "addicted" to weed. You should watch Bill Hicks. Etc.Etc. Weed is beneficial for you. God loves you so he gave you weed, pretty much end of story.
I never get sick. EVER. True. Mainly because a) I am active and healthy, b) I send love to all the world with all my heart, to the best of my ability, every day, every moment, c) I drink lots of water, 4) I take life easy (active but easy... always in motion or rest.) and lastly, 5) I smoke weed, and drink water, and drink coffee.
Hope this helps. Eat tons of fruit, lean meat, veggies, etc.
Meditation, cleanliness, Ganja, etc., all these are good for you.

When I was 13, 21 years ago I heard it as- "Walking on the waves Chicane." Of course that's not a word. Staring as she my na-ame. Oh I can't get it out of my head... It was definitely one of my favorites. I had a good 10 albums or so (by that band) Though I was poor, my friend gave them to me.[/quote]

no negativity directed towards you, dear O.P., this just came to mind.
I guess probably the best method would be to see a psychiatrist and a therapist.
I would say -- aw hell no.

Anybody who can get sufficiently "ripped/stoned" where they don't care about their problems has a different psychological constitution than I and a lot of people I know
