found sum!
    #2774203 - 06/08/04 10:31 AM (12 years, 5 months ago)

Went for a drive this morning just to see any kinda growth around here. hasnt gotten hot so i havent really expected many. but while i was driving down the road there were a bunch of shrooms growing out of the grass right next to the road! this is north of atlanta ga. They were also in front of a horse field but outside of the gate no manure around or anything just plain grass. there is a thin white stem. im taking a spore print right now so no idea on that yet. any idea what these might be?

II. Accurate mushroom descriptions

It is critical that you describe mushrooms fully and accurately in order to get a proper identification.

A good picture of the mushrooms is invaluable.

Along with the pictures (if possible), please include the following:

a. Habitat (where [state/province/country] and what does it grow on)
b. Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc)
c. Measurements of cap and stem.
d. Characteristics of the stem (color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc)
e. Characteristics of the cap (color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc)
f. Spore print color (very important!)
g. Color that the mushroom bruises
h. Scent of mushroom

i think this may be a pan foe. although im not more thasn 60% sure. it seems the best answer to a grass growing mushroom that fits foes discription. we could really use a pic. then we could tell if it was a foe.
