Knowing full well I'd have little to no luck finding any subs in the suburbs with the warm weather and little rain we've been experiencing, I got itchy feet seeing Nickoloxious' photos and thought I'd try my luck today in the eastern suburbs.
As well as 2 regular spots I planned 3 new ones to scout for potential in the coming months.
Only in 1 of my regular spots I had luck finding these:
They may be pins but as you can imagine with recent conditions I was pretty happy to some life beginning!
In the rest of the locations I went to I only came across these guys (no idea what they are):

What an amazing start to the Victoria season! Incredible finds and photo's all round. As usual Nickoloxious you're killing it with the P.tasmaniana finds and seeing an active Gymnopilus season opener is a pleasant surprise.

Found this patch of glory in the Macedon area today.

About half of them are now gone.

Went out for a walk yesterday up in the eastern hills and to my luck I found a beautiful spot with plenty of shrooms! I was so happy! So happy I tried 5 more spots with no luck

Hi all, new to message boards and mushroom hunting, wife and I are after subs to cultivate and I'm not asking for any specific spots but are there any tracks or generalized locations near Warragul I can go for a walk down to go hunting? any help is greatly appreciated  also is this place 420 friendly? got some growing and they are probably the best I've grown, I selfed a plant last crop to guarantee females and so far everyone is a girl

Perhaps the location mentioned in this post is too specific? (M---- isn't all that big of a place?) Yesterday, I legit saw more people in "a spot" than I have for the combined last 5 seasons!
Everyones looking for that mega patch haha.

Hmmm perhaps I'll take M off of my list of places to visit afterall haha 
But yeah, I hear you. Providing a general direction / region without naming specific places is enough. It's half the fun spending hours on google maps pinning all the lush looking areas, then sussing out its suitability on street view lol

I walked past this small park s eastern area and bang I couldn’t believe it they were just screaming -over here!!! but apparently no one else was listening I Love that ,reminds me of Easter egg hunting as a kid only more like Smurf hunting! I gotta don the gum boots and go bush ….forest fresh is best   sexy,!
