well, since i have always misted my cakes and filled the perlite bottom with a 5% h202 solution, and cakes have always grown over the rolled verm without a problem fully within 4-5 days... i figured h202 doesnt harm myc at all... so wouldnt it be benificial to put some into the substrate water to reduce contams????

by the way i figured many people have thought of and done it... but ive never read

Hydrogen peroxide is fairly volatile. If you added it before cooking the jars, it would break down.

If it contams... its because of a mistake, sure, you could probably inject h2o2 into the jar after pcing it, but why! it seems kinda pointless...

One other problem, if it doesn't break down ( it will for sure in a pc ) it may be harmless to myc, not so harmless to spores.
