ordering spores is safe. growing is where the problem comes in. And if you are growing them then you should do it in secret. even your best friend will blab on you if only to sound big. when the word gets around that is where the trouble starts.

Mine even came with a blank slide and cover, to prove that they were for a science project.

Some of the older threads are better then the newer ones. Of course the tek could be outdated but there were a lot of good discussions back in the day lol

Someone once said, use the search, and do not make a new thread, if an old one exists. Am I right?

I know it's legal (at least in my state, I'm not CA/ID/GA) but would ordering semi regularly ever be cause to suspect anything other than legal uses? after all, doesn't looking at them under the microscope get boring after a while? my vendor also sells spores/LCs for stuff like Shiitake, so even the feds can't be 100% sure I'm even buying actives spores. does buying stuff like this/other paraphernalia ever give cause for a search?

I know this is an old thread but I’m in CA and I ordered cubensis spores and liquid cultures which arrived unopened and safe. Before, vendors refused to ship to CA, ID, and GA(I think). Now most vendors I see only prohibit shipping to ID and GA. (Correct me if i’m wrong)

I frequently ship out gourmet syringes and never had an issue so if you want to be careful you can disguise it as a gourmet syringe. I don’t think they can tell unless they actually grow it out so most of the time they will just destroy it then send you a message about the destroyed package, if they find it suspicious. I’m pretty sure you don’t have to disguise it though because I got a package full of cubensis-labeled spores, spore syringes, and liquid culture syringes delivered to me in CA.

I don't think any of those spore laws have been enforced recently, if ever. Vendors mostly don't want to ship to those states so they can't get targeted if someone did decide to pay attention.
One reason is that drug laws are generally enforced by testing for the drug, and growing the spores would be really time consuming for a misdemeanor conviction. The crime labs usually have huge backlogs and don't have time for projects that don't yield benefit.
