I was using a corncob/coir substrate. 2.5 qts spawn, 6 qts sub with 5 cups of coir for a top layer at spawning in 15 qt tubs.

You add coir case layer immediately after sending into bulk spawn? Not after colonization?

I've been tracking this thread, thanks for putting together a really helpful guide.
Do you think it's possible to introduce heat to this setup?
It's going to get cold in my garage (40-50f nights), and I'm trying to work out how to create a heated controlled space before winter.

You're welcome.
The best way of going about heating a tent like that is to heat the room that it is in. It is too dangerous to place a space heater in the tent. I cannot think of a viable way to pump the heat in. Honestly, the only thing I can think of is to heat the water for the fogger. You could buy a heating element for the reservoir or run your hot water line to it.

Thanks. Yeah, I agree a space heater is a bad idea.
I thought about a bar heater, but the humidity makes me worry about it rusting and burning too.
Also considered rigging a water radiator to pump hear in (radiator, small pump, small reservoir and a water heater), but it seems like overkill.
Probably a nuts idea- do you think a large heated towel rack would radiate enough heat?

Hi Brownbear. In your passive exhaust is it just open at the top or does it have a baffle? Just curious thanks in advance

Do you think it would be possible to set up an inline fan on the outside and have a heater placed in front on the intake (not too close of course) with both connected to a thermostat plug on the outside and run a temperature probe run to the inside? That way it would pull the heat inside as opposed to having an active fire hazard on the inside.
Also, if youre worried about anything in your tent catching fire, my friend has one of these in his if y'all are interested it seems like a good idea. He has it zip tied to the top. https://litsservices.com/products/strike-first-5-lb-abc-automatic-fire-extinguisher-horizontal

This might be a stupid question but is the humidity enough here for the fruiting chamber or do you need to spray the tubs still ?

Honest question... If I am growing in a tent with steady humidity and temp, do I need to cover the tubs or bags inside the tent?
