That is amusing. Governments are just taking billionaires yachts from Russian billionaires all over the globe. * 1

Wartime strategies sure have changed over the years.  As much as I dislike referencing MSNBC or Fox News that is great.

I'm currently playing a mod for Rome II total war called "Divide et Imperia."
I read about the riches of the Greco-Bactrian kingdom and it's no joke. Gold, silver, spices, they have got the lot. So I did what any sensible Roman General would do and send 3 legions through Egypt (conquering it in the process to be the breadbasket of my republic) and onto ships to sail the Indian ocean and conquer Bactria.

However, it's been an expensive endeavour. I've raised taxes as I need more legions, more fleets. And whilst I now control the Bactrian provinces, I don't have the money needed to develop them, and that's why I need fleets, to protect my precious exports from banditry and piracy.

As a consequence I've now sent my eastern legions to raid neighbouring provinces and steal all their wealth so I can bolster my own presence there.

Good to see that war hasn't changed much at all in the millennia since. Although, not sure what the market is for stolen yachts. I bet a better racket would be buying the weapons donated to the Ukraine, and then selling them on. I bet there will be a lot of customers for them in Africa when their food shipments from Russia and the Ukraine run out. If I was unscrupulous and willing to risk profiteering from war, that's what I'd be doing.
If I was really evil I'd be kidnapping refugees and trafficking them. There's a lot of customers in certain parts of the world who don't ask questions such as "where did you get these from" and are willing to pay a lot of cash for slaves.
But that's all hypotheticals, based on what if's and historical precedents. I'm sure now is far more wholesome than the despicable actions of the evil and barbaric (recent) past.

I agree.  We as a whole call ourselves civilized.  Nope.  It is just more a lot more in the open than in ancient times.  They do the best to cover up the worst but that shit goes on and barbaric is a term I don't like.

Just some in power from every nation across the world doing things in secret that sometimes gets leaked out by a whistleblower who has a conscience and can see under state run and corporate run media.

Inhumanity will be with us till the end of our lives and no government as it moves towards globalism is removed from this.  Just more technology and means to be "barbaric".

Like this for others amusement.  Just a joke yet could see it live streamed for the starving people and those that find enjoyment in watching it for a false sense of power.  The ultra rich get bored.

Fuck it,  We are all in for the ride but I will never get a rice chip or whatever they want implanted in me.  Don't care about the fucking luxury boats that cost 3 quarters of a billion.  World government right now is like kids squabbling.  What is going to come is going to be really shitty but I survive.  I hold next to nothing in responsiblility besides a monthly rent payment and am free for now.

Next five years should be interesting as I can see the larger picture.  Forest from the trees.  Not a doomsayer.  Just is funny to me, and it shouldn't be but is, those that have weighed themselves down believing in this system of finance and fake puppet presidents and world leaders.  Is inane to me and my burden is lifted.  Not a religious freak either just, educated and have learned through an education to do research and know if the information I am getting is valid or not.

And using my intelligence through that and plants/DMT/LSD plus fasting and prayer, it is within, no religion has a trademark on it to search truth.  Massive veil of deception around the world of what is and what is really not going on.  Everything is connected, I mean everything.  I have hope.  My time will come when it does but I know it won't be a minute before.
