This one I’m looking at, fully automatic is the term it uses. Set and forget!

I did this thing today. It's wonderful. It has become apparent to me that grain that has been hardcore rinsed performs better. This makes it really fucking easy. I can rinse my wbs like 10 times in a few minutes

I agree that rinsing makes a world of difference. I used to just throw my wheat in a pot with water and boil without rinsing, but it only worked well with longer PC time.

What I do now is put a big piece of window screen in my sink and wash the wheat with a bit of dish soap and then rinse it really well. Then I just grab four corners of the screen and transfer all the grain to a pot for boiling.

Yeah, i have heard that soap can impact yield, but that is speculation at this point.

Also, these trash cans make really nice rinsers for bigger grains. You can't really do wbs with them though.

Yup, I line my PC with them when I'm doing quick prep, then I can just pull the whole bag out and drain it.

I believe it's the polyester ones you want and not nylon as they're weak. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, I've been out of cult for a while.

That’s why you put your grains into a sieve DRY and give it the good old vinegar strokes until you get all the dry horrible dusty shit out and THEN you hydrate them
