It also looks like you are using low-nutrient plates. I use pure GWA and the growth is crazy. Yours looks pretty weak in comparison, except the last plate.
I use the same Grain water from boiling oats and barley plus some brewer's yeast , the first transfers were all blowing up like crazi in there but I tried to grab the little flat looking parts because I saw that the ropie one are more prone to overlay or something , maybe that's why ?

I also tried to grab the less aggressive sectors but eventually naughty rhizo sprouted out of all of them. Ofc I could select further and possibly get something relatively calm, but as the replies in this thread suggested, I'm gonna clone hunt instead.

Good thinking yes clone wars ! I was just caught of guard with these nuts... They were exploding inside the plate.. at a point I thought they would break through the plate and eat my cat

Looks amazing! How is the potency tho?
Thank you! They’re pretty good. 2g dry is my sweet spot with nats, nice and pleasant. 2g from that tub put me on my ass. I had a very hard time moving for the first couple of hours. The visuals (both CEV & OEV) were overwhelming. Headspace was easy to manage, as usual.
They’re certainly not the prettiest, but it’s worth hunting the snakes IMO. Potency was hit or miss getting started, but I haven’t had a bunk grow in quite some time.

This last tub to fruit here, had the highest coir ratio of the others. I also dub tubbed it and didnt give FAE as much as the rest. They turned out pretty decent. Much fatter than the others.
Also the last pic is an example of the pseudorhiza I mentioned recently. Very hard dense little root like structure. Never seen anything like this before.

Lol one of my real early posts was asking why my maz looked like pulled teeth.
They had that same weird pointy root thing going on, I’ve only seen it twice in my grows.

Nats looking all PE like. Spawned 3/7.

The edges of the myc started looking funky right before it pinned. Noticed some blue bruising today too.

I've been getting the same pheno but it's always in the second flush, never during the first flush (which looks like green snakes)

I was expecting snakes as well. I wonder if it’s because of the lack of numbers? More nutes for fewer fruits? They’re in a Pasty’s ez dial mono with a cup of water sitting beside em. Must like what they’re getting so far! The 66 qt I spawned on 3/19 is currently under that white blanket of mycelium…so I’m just eagerly awaiting that first pin. It will be interesting to see if the scale of the grow affects the same culture and how.

Might be, though I am not sure. With regular cubes the later flushes tend to be fewer but considerably larger fruits, but I never knew why. I've noticed my nats sometimes 'change pheno' between flushes. They go from green/gray snakes, to short PE-like fruits, to plump mexican-sombrero fruits. I've been told the accumulation of bacteria and water/nutrient depletion play a role there.
And yeah do keep us updated if you notice differences in phenotype between grows of different scales, I'm sure everyone will appreciate more datapoints on this crazy species

Count me in as well. ' Starting NSS like yesterday. Less than 2 weeks in, and it's already faster than any cube ' ever seen. It's an exciting strain for sure.
