Wet Petri dishes after pressure cooking

Hi guys! Every time when i foil up my glass petri dishes and PC them i end up with water inside.. I tried low water level inside pc but it doesn’t work, what can i do to avoid this?

Put them on a raised surface... some pressure  cookers some with a metal tray that you can put a couple small jars under,  or you can use the jar lid rings and some foil to make a raised surface  to put your dishes on

thx for reply mate, my PC has that metal tray and water lvl was beyond surface

Just take a couple small jars, or the rings from the lids and use them under the rack to lift it up... I personally  use 3 quarter pint jars to lift my tray up when I PC petri dishes.

I suggest using disposable plastic petri dishes.    Glass petri dishes are a pain, and you'll likely have a larger environmental footprint from sterilizing them than you would have using disposable ones.

Sterilize glass plates in the oven before pouring see my sig for an example.

I love glass plates! Unless you need to work with more than 20-30 plates at a time then it is a lot of trouble (and expensive) compared to plastic disposables.

I repeated whole process like 4 times in a row.. I had long night with that dishes with same results - then bought disposables… I’ll try your tek, it looks exactly what i was looking for.. thx mate
