Easy growing vs potency.

Wow, haven't posted here in nearly a year and a half. Simple questions, speculating opinions need not reply. What is the best strain of psyilocybe mushrooms to cultivate in doors, on seed (finch seed, or some other form of seed). Of course my friend wants it to be a reliable strain, easy to fruit, etc, etc. But also potent (will end up as dry fruits, if that has any bearing). Which strain is the best trade off here? My friend would attempt Azures or Cyans, however I don't think my friend is experienced enough to yield a 'productive' grow from them. Last time my friend grew was probably two years ago with Tazmanians and B+'s, both of which did very well. Also, last time my friend was in the loop the PF technique was reigning supreme, which is what my friend did, but this time around my friend is looking for a somewhat largescale bulk indoor method. After colonization my friend plans to make casings. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome regarding both my friend's questions.

Potency is a tough call. Substrain to substrain, cubes may vary... so you could have two different b+ substrains that have drastically different potency.
I'd suggest Orissa India. Not only does it grow very large on bulk substrates, it is a very fast colonizer as well. I'd say the potency is impressive... but, with cubes, potency is in the eye of the beholder.

So my friends thinking, 1/2 b+'s, 1/4 Taz, 1/4 Orissa's. Will all the above do well on wild bird seed? Finch seed maybe? Or even popcorn seed? My friend is kinda partial to small seeds for substrate and casing using vermiculite, though those details will be pounded out later. My friend thanks you for your attention, btw.

My friend will be casing the end colonized substrate. He also used the term 'bulk' loosely in the first message. Anything in large quantity is bulk in his eyes.

I haven't noticed a potency loss with easy-to-grow methods... only bulk loss.
I'm confused as to what you mean by bulk loss. ?

That still explains nothing about what you meant by 'bulk loss'. My friend's familiar with cultivation and mycology, just a bit out of touch.

Gee Mr. Wizard... The term bulk loss still doesn't seem too open to cognitive reasoning, but thanks for the explanation.

I wasn't being an ass I was replying to your condescending tone. I told you thanks for the information and paid you my respects. There's nothing more for me to say... And I don't think there's much nicer of a way to ask for something to be cleared up than how I asked.

How would an erowid link change your mind? Theres also an old thread that has a good amount of discussion about bluing in it.
