Androgyny

What do you think? Do you find it attractive, or like it in yourself?
I am trying something like this and not really sure what to do, and if there is an appeal. I don't like standing out.
Are people attracted to 'masculine' and 'feminine'? What would make an androgynous person attractive - some combination of the two? Or is there some special appeal to androgyny?

I am attracted to butch chicks, have to remind myself that Elliot Page is a man who's nipples are no longer a threat to family values.
I can find a person beautiful without being sexually attracted to them, and I know folks that prefer it, usually the more fluid folks.
Not for me, however I like the idea of anything that blurs the lines.
The Replacements has a good song about it

Could clothes intentionally designed to hide all attractive features be attractive?
A look that shows an intentional decision not to express too much - not out of conservatism, but mostly out of fluidity, discomfort and indifference.
A look that illustrates perceived competence, perhaps.

I often find androgenous looking women attractive. I'm a heterosexual male (well, technically bi-curious but I've not met a man I fancied yet and I'm in my forties so not that curious clearly.)
I certainly like the short hair, jeans and T-shirt look and sort of blunt, more typically masculine demeanor.
I think that clothes specifically designed to conceal the conventionally desirable body parts/shapes could be attractive. If I met someone who I was attracted to and they were wearing clothes like that it would probably add a level of intrigue to the physical attraction.

How about a fully-covering coat?
I think lab coats are sexy. And Dr's uniforms.

As someone who was a teenager in the 80's, yes, androgyny is hot as hell! I can name dozens of people (male and female) from that era who really pull my ripcord.

Hell yeah

"Souls love. That’s what souls do. Egos don’t, but souls do. Become a soul, look around, and you’ll be amazed-all the beings around you are souls. Be one, see one. When many people have this heart connection, then we will know that we are all one, we human beings all over the planet. We will be one. One love. And don’t leave out the animals, and trees, and clouds, and galaxies: it’s all one. It’s one energy." -Ram Dass
