Yes!! That's my baby gurl!!! She just turned 3 this March (her age is an estimate, because she was WILD!!!), but it isn't off by more than a couple weeks. I had 17 but she is the only survivor, her siblings are in the freezer or already eaten. She saved herself by being different from the others. Instead of running away and trying to bust out, she came over and laid down beside me while I was hammering in some nails to secure the cage. She looked right at me and rolled over like a dog, giving her belly to me for a rub. She is so smart too!!! I will be picking up limbs and other debris, she will see what I'm doing and start helping me pile it all up, I think it triggers her nesting instincts because they will build huge nest like structures in the wild.
On the Cannacult side, I managed to get one the brickweed seed plants that was mostly eaten by squirrels or rats to bounce back. It had just tiny pieces of growth left when I found it and now has 4 main branches.

Here's a couple clones that were just planted.

Fucking doc out there like dr Doolittle.
Pigs cleaning the yard and squirrels defoliating the plants
That pig looks half feral, seems like it should have some tusks or something. Supposedly they’re as smart as dogs too.

My X18 male is tall. I didnt expect a pure indica to be so tall. I guess that's due to being more landrace than like a short hybrid indica? I love him. His structure is great. IMO.
he should be dropping pollen anyday now I hope. He is in a 4gal fabric pot

That pig is cool My wife wants one always. Here is our pig. LOL.

I love the structure on that plant, I’d be stoked to use it for breeding.
My friend used to live with an old lady who had these really old pugs and they would wander around snorting like a pig super loud. I guess being old and have a smooshed face turned them into snorting machines.

She was feral!!! But she was trapped at approximately 1 month of age and has been domesticated ever since. She has free range of about 2 acres, with half being wooded and the rest like a lawn, she doesn't even try to get out and has a hound dog for a best friend.

Pigs revert back to wild and start growing more fur. Revert faster than any other animal.

Dude I was just gonna say I’ve heard that if a pig get loose from a farm within a few months it’ll be all furry and grow tusks. Wasn’t sure if that was true or not but it’s pretty cool.
That’s one of the weirdest things in nature to me. Having to forage for food suddenly switches them into warrior mode.

So my anti psychotic search ended up with this Zultan varietal working. We are going to run it outside full term in good soil and see if we can get some better numbers.Though the thca is perfect.Im interested in the cbc, cbd, cbn, and thcv numbers more. Also the terpenes are important Anyways hope it's Rad out there everyone.I sure do like seeing all your gardens!Cheers

So I planted a bunch of seeds recently, mostly from a hermie that will go to an early outdoor harvest (no cross contamination nearby)
I had a jar of spent king oyster mycelium, and when prepping the coir/seedling soil mix, I grinded that mycelium and added it to the substrate, my form of trying a oyster mycelium symbiosis. Seems that there is merit to it
https://riverfriends.org/mushrooms-are-a-key-ingredient-in-soil-remediation-recipe/
The lil seedling are growing well, and seeing lil patches of myc in the soil makes me happy.
I also planted a few seeds that a friend had been collecting for years in seedling trays. Seeds he found in weed strains he liked. These are completely unmarked.
So, if I get some male plants, I think I will try to do some breeding even though I've only done one grow. The idea of cultivating my own randomized cultivated strain appeals to me.
Can a female plant me pollinated by multiple male plants? If I do grow some males, can I keep them relatively small just for pollinating purposes in a separate tent or something?
If the male plants are smoll in stature, will that hurt future grows from those genetics? Do male plants have the same sativa/indica leaf differences? If I pollinate a female plant that came from a self-fertilized hermie plant with male pollen, will the new seeds still have a higher predisposition for hermies, or does it reset?
Any other ideas for interesting soil additives? I was using banana peel water prior and during the flushing cycle of my last grow. I had also added some kombucha (great for lowering ph btw) to create a bacterial presence in the coir. Weed came out very nice, and it was specifically very fruity smelling and tasting to everyones palate, which in my mind was due to the banana peel water.
I used Schmidt brand all-purpose liquid nutrients for that grow (which was from Dollarama oops but it worked well).
I have 14-14-28 Tomato plant powder, and also 4-4-4 fertilizer spikes. Do spikes work well for weed cultivation? if some of those per 5 gallon pot is all you need for the cycle, that seems very convenient.
If anyone has a preferred link for cross-breeding, let me know.

hey man, good luck. i know i wanted my own unique strains created by me. i most definitely want to know the strains tho, and i want strains specific to what i desire. you know like indicas, fruity flavors, pretty colors, long lasting effects, ease of growing, flowering stretch, terps (that has smells and flavors i like). so i want to know what strains im working with, but i think you should do what you want and it will be awesome and fun. here is a link to some references. https://www.growweedeasy.com/advanced-breeding-techniques
i got the fever also and now have all kinds of crosses and pollen ive made. im only really working on one cross at a time now for stabilizing. ive only been growing a couple years now and still a newb. good luck and i hope you have great success.
there are a few members on this thread that can help you with questions also.
yes males are indica-sativa and show just like the females.
yes you can pollinate a female plant with different strains , so make sure you label and try to keep accidental cross pollination as low as possible. you can keep the plants as small or as big as you want them i assume. im about to put my clones into solo cups and flower the males out that way. small plants then. keep in a separate tent in a separate room if possible. pollen spread so easy. keeping the plant small to gather pollen shouldnt make the babies small, unless its genetic.
hermies im not sure about but im pretty sure if the mom is hermie then kids are hermie. im not sure tho. so .... it passes on the genetics for sure tho, male or female.
soil additives- Epson salt, great white, ive use my mushroom substrates before (dont know if it helped or hurt), crushed and browned egg shells. im making homemade fertilizers and bacteria and stuff for additives. heres the link to making them. https://www.unconventionalfarmsupply.com/unconventional-farmer-links
if i can help let me know. i ask others for advice still , but if i can help i will.

I don't plan on breeding them really, more so just an early summer quick harvest, making sure to collect before any seed production. Can still get good bud that way! Plus, a lot of strains came from hermies.

^ good point, i was thinking with indoor thinking. I guess if i plant outdoors it will simply follow the cycle of the season?

Yup. So if youre in the northern hemisphere youre looking at prolly a sept to oct harvest and if they herm on you then difficult to harvest before seeds form. Unless you like under developed buds packed with nutes.
Here's get good at growing before trying your hand at breeding.

Why do you want to grow something that could potentially ruin your whole neighborhoods plants?
Seed runs should be done in a controlled environment…. Come on now y’all. Let’s not start working backwards…

This is a major peeve of mine currently, guys posting pics of large male plants outdoors, no fucks given for anyone else and their grows. Keep your mindless pollen chucking indoors and isolated and allow us our fucking quality outdoors rather than covered in random seed I'll never bother to grow.
Fuck it makes me mad 😠
