"Beyond Expert". Why the fuck not? Getting into Mountain Biking. * 1

That sign from the vid made me laugh.  Live in Utah and never have dared a black diamond on the ski slopes.  I would do this though.  Utah laws and politics are garbage but holy shit is great to live in if one likes nature.  Is a rush.

I love aluminum mountain bikes.  Ride it enough it is like it becomes a part of you, complete control over it.

But yeah. Would not be  on any substance doing this, not even a little.  That is so cool that someone put up those mini-bridges.  My bike could handle it but my body, stone cold sober.  Lol.

Not even music, complete focus.

Like this song though,, I relate.  So forget are your duties, oh yeah.  Always remember,, take care of responsibilities first and wear a helmet.  Makes me laugh when biking during the day and the guys with all the gear knocking their helmet as they go by.  Fuck off.  But in the mountains, it is on.  Gives me a rush just watching it.

I haven't really been on a bicycle since my teen years. Almost half my life.

This looks like it would be a rush. Staying focused.

Plus I know the benifits will carry over to other activities.

Definitely.  That is a level I am not but just getting back from vacation and picking up my Mountain Bike, at the local bike shop, 2 days of riding and my muscles and instincts kick back it .

Now only if the PCT will open up again for hiking and camping will go this year.  Same thing.  What you train your body for.  Is so inane that some think think they can climb Everest because I have the best gear and guides or in this case the best Mountain Bike that can cost as much as a car.

That is not needed.  Everest no.  1,200 elevation is the highest I will go on any mountain just so many people think they don't need to prepare beforehand physically and practice and experience and research and all of that.

I was that stupid once and it almost killed me.

Mountain biking is a rush, or surfing, live in Utah and not into skiing or snowboarding but is to many here.  Just the only way is practicing and decent gear and of course doesn't need to be fancy.

Watching that I feel a much smaller rush than that guy but I drink and drug yet when it is time I prepare my body and mind a ways ahead of time for it.  Common sense.  Made me laugh with some like the Saudi that just thought my money can buy anything.  No disrespect but no, it really can't.
