Help/Advice: ton of bottom pins on Bods unmodified Tub Tek

You can see the overall log here.
I did an inspection of the bottom of my unmodified tub and found that I have a crapload of pins. What is the best way to proceed? I think I still have some time left on the top before I should harvest, except that crooked one.
Can I just float the whole cake up and flip it? I have good amount of new pins on top as well, but not nearly as much as on bottom. Thanks in advance.
Top pic:
Bottom Pic: White'ish area is all pins.

*I did search other posts and didnt see any clear answer on flipping or advice other than "do better next time"*

I had read about the liners and from everything I gathered they do not stop side/bottom pinning. Really hoping to just figure out how to make the most of this tub, if flipping is worth it or not.

Liners stop all my tubs from side pinning. Just saying.

You're getting sidepins because the surface conditions are off and the next best place to fruit is the moist gap around the sides. The surface looks really dry which is pretty typical for unmodified tubs. I would worry about fixing your excess FAE first, then flip it so you don't dry out the bottom of your substrate before it can fruit.
I'm not going to try to force you to use one, but IME correctly using a liner greatly reduces the amount of sidepins and makes cleanup/substrate removal much easier.

What about it looks dry? I have surface moisture (beads) across the entire area. Here is a pic from right now.

The spawn I used was also pinning in the jar, so that might contribute. I'm just trying to see what I can do to maximize the harvest. Best I can tell moisture is okay, I can't imagine adding more water. Pictures may not do it justice.

From the initial pics, the sidewalls seemed to have absolutely no moisture on them and the substrate was pulling away from the tub a bit. If thats naturally occurring moisture (not directly from misting) it shouldn't be bottom pinning like that.
Is there any chance that you have been picking up the tub to look at it much? Picking up tubs can cause flexing/compaction and get the tiny gaps started that they thrive in. Once a single pin forms, it acts like a wedge to lift/move the substrate away from the wall and the gap widens and then the problem just gets worse.

It was already sucked in like that before I ever moved the tub. Today is day 10 and it’s the first time I’ve picked up to take pictures of bottom.
Edit: Forgot to mention, walls are dry because I took the lid off today. I was reading something when Bod said he takes the lid off while home. So was curious how it would impact.

I had the same issue my first time running bods tek, this time I’m using a liner and it’s helping a lot. What I did last time though was just harvest the top like normal and whatever I can reach on the sides without messing with it. Then whenever the bottom pins and side pins get big enough that I needed to take them out I set the tub onto one of its narrow ends so it was standing up vertical, I then held the substrate with one hand and let it lean out of the tub a little bit so I could fit my hand in there and easily pick everything. After I got a solid first and second flush off of the top I noticed I had a bunch of bottom pins again so I flipped the sub over and got a decent little flush off of the bottom pins. The fruit below in my signature is actually from when I flipped the sub.

Hmm that sounds good. How hard was it to flip? I’ve been sort of trying to figure that out, is the cake solid enough to easily handle if your gentle? I’m tempted to just harvest what I have on top now and flip. Way more pins on bottom, and I can work on improving surface conditions.

It wasn’t too too difficult to flip, definitely took my time with it though. I flipped it before I rehydrated it so it was pretty light compared to a fresh substrate so that helped. I just tilted it on the side like I said early and slowly let the sub lean out more and more while holding it until I was eventually just holding it with 2 hands with the bottom facing up. From there you can just set the tub back down on its bottom using your elbow or a helping hand if you have one available and set the sub back into the tub.

Sounds good, I think I’ll give it a shot once this 2nd flush is mostly done.
First flush was killer lol. (My first flush ever!)
