just seeing this, you have the eagle eye, i'd imagine if you want to find cincts, they will be in sodded/irrigated areas...those cubes look healthy

at dawn in the cow fields of FL with good moisture and temps, creeping quietly to not disturb cattle or people, cube caps look like little grey/white clusters spread over the dung and dusk, if they can be in the shade and get the right sun/protection from the sun, like under a tree where the cows go to escape the sun and take the most relaxed shits, but still keep the temp/humidity (sun not required), there are epic caps lurking

Starting to think the closest field to me is dead. Days of rain and still nothing. The only field I've found anything at is an hour out from me and it's a bit hard to keep track of rainfall there. Any other field near me is private property and I'm about to do that

I found a few today on a new to me trail network. Found a bunch but they were past their prime.

Seems too wet in East Central FL now. Only found one fruiting cow patty out of a thousand, and it was on stilts.

All of mine are in the East CFL, pastures haven't been good but the oak hammocks have been producing very well.

I though so too. Took a spore print of it to play with.

Agreed but time is not always on my side and am behind on pouring plates lol. I find them often enough though (third one this month). I like playing around with genetics and spores is the way to go.

I would have to introduce myself to the owner of that property. I've had success trading labor for access. Mending fence, picking up trash, just offering something for something, know what I mean. Sometimes, just being honest works!!!
Edit: Just know that you are not going to be the first to ask to pick mushrooms, every farmer/rancher has friends and family who are asking for access, so don't go up to them looking like a druggie. Clean cut gets better responses and go by yourself!!!

We just got a massive dump of rain yesterday afternoon. Hurts knowing I won't find anything just yet because I'm absolutely itching to get out to the field
