a REALLY good movie?

Can you guys recommend a REALLY REALLY good recent/current movie- by that i mean probably within the last 5 years.
Saw lost in translation last night- I liked it, but not as much as I expected to.
The last time I saw something I loved was a documentary about "little people" i.e. elves and gnomes and fairies in Iceland. That was awesome. I like all sorts of movies, as long as they ellicit some serious emotion (be it laughter or sadness) or intellectualization.
Maybe there is just something wrong with me....I am feeling detached and cynical lately I guess....
Thanks for any good recommendations!

Waking Life.
It's a live action movie that was painted over and is about philosophy - really wild and interesting.

If you like the work of John Waters then you should check out Pink Flamingos. I never saw it but I hear it's good and most people seem to agree that it's his best work.

The Thin Red Line - Ok. So it came out 5.5 years ago and some people will swear that it's the worst film they've ever seen. For me: I have never seen a better film. Therre is no other film that even comes close to being the ideal of art and reminding me what art could do. The Pianist - Genuinely upsetting. Memento - I thought it was compelling. Mulholland Drive - Very interesting. The story itself is nonsense, but that's the point.

Fight club_i have never seen it sober but it fun on acid
spirited away_its about A girl and her parents who get caught in a bath house for the spirites. Its a really good japanese animation film that will get you into anime somewhat(did for me :P).
Princess monokea_ done by the same pepole as spirited away, Again awesome film. This one has a more seriouse tone to it but its also got some wicked cool fight scenes.
jackass\CKY_ what can i say, not all people like it but i think its funny how people are stupid so we dont have to be.
Armegeddon_ One of my favorite movies ever, i still cry when i watch it some times (/is a pussy).
Lord of the ring:FotR, tTT, and RotK_ Great movies based on great books. If you havnt seen these movies then your missing out. If you havnt read the books then your a lameo.
The matrix_ The first one and ONLY the first one.
Buttery fly effect_ Holy this movie made my brain think so much it hurt
Fear and loathing in las vegas_ Cuz i can relate, well sorta.
I have more but i cant think of em.

Bubba Ho-tep definitely has my vote, bruce campbell always puts a smile on my face.
Finding Nemo was awesome, I just saw Shrek 2 and really liked it .
Monster was incredible as well, really depressing (in all aspects) but what a performance from Charlise Theron.
