Well here's what my tat look like so shame on me for being curious and skeptical.
White shrooms I just picked literally. Flicked it to get some blue

And that's the same colors I've gotten out of apes, averiea, albino cambos, apeu, and just generally the color of all the stems pretty much I've ever encountered with cubensis. But I didn't get my yeti to fruit to be fair. But I doubt it's a yeti thing. Maybe I'm fucking color blind.

And give what up? I'm just making observations at this point.

You gotta let them get close to over ripe and then they’ll start to go blue usually.

I love when the gills on my tat do it.

I think if we're being really that's a pretty gray blue, very close to the colors in my pic. The pics I'm more curious about actually more closely resemble your tapestry lol!
I'm done. I'm not trying to piss people off.

Clearly these shrooms are all airbrushed if it's not photoshop.

I still think the pink could be a genetic thing. I'm open to being wrong, but...

Some genetics get more blues than others, different shades too IME.

Pink color would be a very strange genetic trait and not likely unless someone
crisprd in a gene from a pink staining mushroom

Someone posted a good explanation for why the pink photo isnt edited already.

Make sure the color on your monitor or phone is properly calibrated too change the fluid in it if you have to. Screens affect color too.

Lenses, lighting and the screen you view it on... all varitables.

I'm reminded of some online sales disclaimers about the color of a product.

I totally feel that. Big variable if you buy paints or similar products online as well. Even the quality of camera the pictures taken on I suppose

I was kidding, I don't really think the pics are edited. Great explanation why posted too. I've seen fruits get blue colors like that, but the neon pink caps are some alien looking shit. I can see why those would get questioned.

I would have jumped right on the shower curtain bacteria team if I hadn't seen the light pink in some of the fruits in the one PE culture I grew. It was pretty faint, but was definitely there...not bruise staining on the outside, but some pink in the flesh.

It could have been bacteria or a condition thing, but I don't think it's too crazy to think it could be genetic. I know if that's the case, it's weird that it hasn't been seen more often, but idk...

I hope whoever grew the pink cap APEs or whatever they are still has that culture going. It would be interesting to see if it's a consistent thing or a weird anomaly.

That pink cluster is probably seratia, one of the most common bacteria on earth.

You see it a lot in showers, toilets, in trays of water that sit for too long, etc.
