Looks like a bit of pop and sharpen filter, I wouldn't call that enhancement really. My camera on my phone looks like complete digital fuzzy garbage if I don't add a pop filter. Makes it look more like it does in real life

For the original photo that started the discussion, it's likely legit or at the very worst slightly filtered like E-dub and others mentioned. With edited photos you can sometimes discern whether or not they were heavily photoshopped by looking at a sort of 'informational negative' of the photo.
Here is the original, followed by this 'info negative.' What you would look for in this negative is stuff that stands out a lot from the photo. In this case, the negative looks even and consistent (white) which tells you it's either unmodified or modified with some universal effect, like a filter that hits all the pixels; but likely not 'shopped'

Here is an example where I used a brush stroke to modify it, then pass it to the negative again:

I bet the original one with the pink tinge is totally legit, and I'm curious what bacteria would cause that.

Has anyone done this before? That's a brilliant idea! I wish I had heard about it sooner since I've got 7 albino varieties running right now. A bottle of food coloring with the water to prep the coir - woulda been an easy experiment. Maybe next time

Not that I know of.
Myc just eats coloring on plates so I figured the same would happen in a tub. It’s worth a shot though. I’ve got some albino spawn about ready maybe I’ll do a mini grow.

Somebody sent me this picture yesterday, I’m guessing some type of bacteria. Looks cool though. Reminds me of talking about growing albinos with colored water to try and get this effect.

I was growing a PE culture that would have some fruits that had a light pink color in the stems. It was actually in the flesh, not something just on the surface. I had never seen that before. That culture was/is really potent too. I don't have pics, but still have that culture. If I see it again I'll try to get some good pics.
I wonder if it could be a genetic thing? Pink PE would be crazy.

It won't, there's a bunch of OLD posts where people have tried all this stuff before. RR even got involved in condemning the practice and linked even older posts that showed that it never works. I wish it did though, that would be fun.

Hi again, I’m so happy to share my second grow with you (and my first successful shoeboxes). It’s really an honor and means a lot to me, so thank you all
This time I have b+ and rustywhyte
I was able to take some clones from clusters, ‘specially that big one! I’m so excited..and I even made my first spore prints. Special thanks again to Munchauzen for helping me get to here and making it possible
