The Rockies. They won't grow here but tend to pop off old blocks.

That explains why, it gets to cold for to long, they can't tolerate several days of consistent freezing temperatures and by the time it does warm up, seems like it's freezing again before they can fruit, I'm not sure about altitude, can't think of seeing any  in the mountains anywhere so it probably matters.  Alan Rockefeller should know.

I confess with the inability to source grains other than oats locally I may go back to using feed corn as spawn.

Nice!
This is classic confession material - only the “mush cult cult” would understand!

Hit me up with a PM and an address - I must have some extra prints around here somewhere!

I love the plastic/glass store, that and the hardware/garden store.
Everytime I drive past I go look for jars or new pp containers in search for the perfect, cheap agar dish.

My Tupperware cupboard has so many different pp cups, unused, it's actually bordering on hoarder level

And after all that I am picking up another 50 soda lime dishes today.

Years ago when I first got back into mush cult after a 20+ year break, someone here on the Shroomery hooked it up with genetics that those KSSS come from. I think the origin of the genetics sent to me were from Chron.

They have always been distinctive and tend to be fatter stemmed but the pictured pheno I’ve been selecting for for a couple of years. They look a bit like the OG KSSS - very short fat and gnarly.  Shoot me a PM in April and I’ll probably have a new set of prints from them. I’ve also got the KSSS UFO genetics on agar right now. Those guys are about three times wider than they are tall - look like a flying saucer. Some folks claim that pheno is the “true KSSS”.

I confess at one point I was kind of obsessed with Thai Cubes and had three going from the same island (Koh Samui). I called them “The Island Crew” and sent Hamloaf a print of each and he did a grow of all three (in separate tubs):
