Here are 2 of my latest grows. First one is RW, second is Pan Cyan. Question for Faht and others:
1. Should I put RW in fruiting mode or wait few more days (its day 10 today)? 2. Should I case Pan Cyan now or wait few days? Should I put it into fruiting immediately after casing or wait some time before doing it? 3. Should I stay or should I go?😀

Wait with casing the Pans, at least 2 days after full colonization.

Not actives but still excited, my shiitake block started putting out. Was told it needed to 'leather' a bit before fruiting, but I noticed the pins coming early so was told it would be fine to let it go now.
Neat how they kinda break through the mycelium, fun to do something other than cubes.

A "two headed" fruit of sorts in ATL7 'Cosmoplex' F0. This is the second time I've seen this type of divergent fruiting from one base in this culture, hoping to isolate and see if it can be stabilized.
In this case, the split fruit developed from the agar pin that you see laying vertically, that was the donor piece on this plate.

These were the tissue donors for those two tubs, respectively.

I love the aesthetic appeal of Nats, how hefty are they though? Do you guys get filled/dense/solid stipes?

Thats what always confuse me🙂 you see in one pancake tray half surface is colonized almost fully, other half still isnt. Best is to wait other half to catch up? If its already cased I would probably have to patch the side that isnt colonized.
What about other pic? Its RW, came up pretty fast but is a bit stalling now to get full colonization.
