I'm impatient for rain.. but I guess I can get by on NZ's psychoactive spiders for a little while longer..

I've sourced a mating pair of purple echoes, so hopefully this season I'll have some spider tea to complement my shroombrew..

Mate, what about tripping leeches! We all know they get high on our blood but believe me, it does both ways!

If you crush and dry them you trip balls if you smoke them .

Psychoactive birds are quite something.

Back in 2005 me and my mate Ivan smoked a P-Gull. Manuka wood chips. Didn't sleep for a week obviously.

After the third day in the corner of my eyes I was constantly seeing shadow P-Gulls swooping in screaming 'Score score score score'

It was brutal. Got Beached as.

It's bad enough, at 3am, trying to explain to a police officer why one is disturbing the flax bush.. why one has a bag full of mushrooms..

Psilocybe chlorisspinoides
Note the especial blue-staining of the rectrices (tail feathers) and maxillary rostrum (upper beak)

There is no discernible physical difference between the two native birds.

Chlorisspinoides is gregarious, bisexual and euthymic; spinoiata, solitary, surly and introspective.

Both species stain blue when piqued.

It is recommended that chlorisspinoides be milked quickly on account of its booming warble when handled.

Cyclocybe parasitica, Trametes vesicolor, and Ganoderma applanatum growing on one fat log

and I think I found Lentinula novae-zelandiae, will have to get it IDed.
