I'm just here to kick off the NZ 2022 hunting season. After a bit of rain and some cold weather we are starting to see some subs around dunedin.

How early does your season usually start?! Its crazy to see this as an Aussie! I do recall user 'The Thing' posting subs found up northern aus february of last year, though this is certainly not commonplace. Happy hunting!

I'm unsure, I'm actually an aussie and this is my first season hunting in Dunedin. If anyone has any useful information for me hunting in the area please reach out haha

I think last year the first finds that I saw posted were in March some time.

So these are a month or more earlier than that. I have heard of rare subs being found in February in years gone by, but still, this is an exceptional find!

far out nice finds trustmycelium. I saw the over night low drop a little over the last few days, down to 13... started to get twitchy. nah still got a month and a half before my summer time hobby winds up.
