Beautiful! I don’t get that very often - and when I do it is often plate fruits or invitro fruits. The stems are very satiny and a brilliant white with a hint of blue. Then the caps go from very pale to blue. They look potent AF but I’ve never eaten any…
Thanks - the odd thing about these is that they were a second flush and the first flush had roughly the same shape and style but had a more golden color to them. I cloned and printed these so will see what happens. It might be that I let this second flush go longer than the first and that’s just what happens when you do that. I have so many Nat shoeboxes right now that some get neglected/forgotten.

You can use grain water straight up, or diluted quite a lot for the LC broth. Whatever your agar recipe is will work, or you can cut the nutrients by half or go down to like 10% for your broth. I like lower nutes for more clarity.
You can make transfers to it just like you would an agar dish or grain jar in your SAB or flow.
I love it.
I use the josex poke to make the LC through a self healing injection port. And I inoculate the jars through a SHIP as well.
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24740168/fpart/6
If the LC I I inoculated with josex poke doesn't show any growth after 5 days, I either poke again or make a transfer to the LC like I would with agar.

They didn't grow faster than cubes for me personally.

Mine also bruised significantly when I let them get over-mature. The result looked pretty gnarly. Not sure about any potency differences.

They grow faster at higher temperatures.

What is your measure for that statement? Colonization or fruiting temperatures?

Those grey trays always remind me of pleasantville.
Third flush was three more of the pheno I cloned.

Can't wait to see how those clones turn out AKA!
I agree with Nosferatu, mine did much better in the summer. Some tubs would pin by day 9. My grow room was 75 degrees at night, 80-90 daytime when it'd hit 110+ outside. The cubes struggled but the Nats did very well. Now, my temps stay between 68-72 and they move at the pace of PE variety cubes. Last tubs took 16 days to pin.

Those are awesome looking AKA. Can’t say I have seen anything like that in any of the roughly 30 different tubs I grew out. Hope you can stabilize that.

Plucked it.

The myc I took from a similar one the other day is growing pretty weird so far, not in a good way though.
It still blows my mind that spores can somehow get on top of the cap they came from.

Both. I had them at 27C and they moved almost as fast as pan cyan.

Interesting, I have grown them a few times in summer and didn't notice any kind of speed difference. This current season has been very hot, some days about 35C but I haven't ever noticed a speed difference, more with cold.

Slow growing snakes at 30°C
I also have fast growing snakes and pan looking Nats as well.

Good luck. They'll probably do well against bacteria. The spawn I used for this shoebox smelled like sweet hell.

I might share alot of nat tubs where the green is contained by the overlay/myc, and fruiting occurs

That one little mushroom in my last pic went into the dehydrator all on its own and still stunk up the whole room
Glad I wasn’t around when the whole tray was going.
These and PE seem to have a special stank on them.

I think something got in my LC. Initially it was contam, but then it seemed to get colonized by the Natalensis and make a layer of overlay on top. Then I stirred it and this happened

Looks pretty cool but I'd guess this LC is bunk
