I need to know, if Mimosa hostilis seeds are legal to be shipped into australia through the mail. And what are the risks of doing so?
I need a fast reply, thanks for any help

This is an article that explains the situation with Acacia confusa and Mimosa hostilis in Australia: https://perushopexpress.com/mimosa-hostilis-australia/
Pretty sure Australia has plenty of Acacia trees, just like South East Asia. Haver you tried looking for some locally?

Isn't Mimosa hostilis a nasty invasive species? They keep out foreign seeds/animals for a reason...

I think in Latin and South America, Mimosa hostilis provides support for the soil and prevents soil erosion, provides good shade for people and animals and provides feed for livestock in times of drought.
