Chicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa, 77, out indefinitely with unspecified medical issue.

Wow, how about that timing?  I knew he was old but not that old.  Zimmer territory.  Is amusing you posted what you did and the next day this is on ESPN.

On to Vegas.  And no not a degenerate gambler but Sarah and the pool and a small bet, will be nice.  Don't know know if Circa charges one if one bets there to watch it in a pool but will find out!

Resort fees are the bane of hotels there but is interesting the teams starting to play for the playoffs and those that are just call ups and teams just playing out the season in the MLB.  But know who I will be watching and who my money, hard earned, just a joke, will be on.

In football.  I just have to give it the eye test as it starts.

Enjoy the end of your Summer Shoomery.  I will.  Like watching Toronto lately and Bo and his three homer game.  Never thought he had it in him like his dad but more than that the O's were winning everything and that sweep today by the Jays was great.

Canadians are so polite!  Really if they get into the playoffs will finally use my passport to go to Toronto for the first time if they play there.  That energy and shit still makes me laugh.

Nothing like the playoffs in any of the four major sports.  Rest of the world can fuck off to football of the kicking type.  There is a reason they have a soccer blown up ball and dirt in third world countries.

No way he can possibly come back after how they have played in his absence. The dude has clearly forgotten how to manage and I think he has some sort of dementia.

Also, while speaking of people I hope don’t come back, Tim Anderson would be another one. He has been terrible this year and has brought a lot of negative energy to the team. Keep Andrus at short. He is playing out if his mind right now.

I got a couple of bets in as soon as TLR went out and they were six games out. First was a division win at +1200 odds and second was World Series at +20,000 odds. Division bet is looking good. WS is a longshot, but it’s a 6 figure payout if it hits.

Just got back from Vegas.  Bet on the Rockies and Freeland which is a guy that gives shut out innings then gives up 6 in a inning on a regular basis.

3-0 Rockies against them in Chicago and God did that feel good.:shrug:

But yeah the White Sox are done.  I thought that game would be all this drama, nope.

On a different note I hope with the Yankees, that Judge gets that record.  Shall see.

They aren't done yet with 3 games against Cleveland next week. Could very well be done after that though. They need to sweep so they hold the tie breaker. I'm still hoping, but just like every other time this year, I am sure that they will disappoint.

Too little, too late. Should have ditched TLR months ago.

They are done.  The Guardians of the U.S.A. that make up .08 of the population, should take on christianity and breed like hispanic people, they are dying out, September 15 to October 15 heritage month but whole different topic.

Glad to see people still wearing Indian shit to games.

But Judge of the Yankees who the southerners till hate, them damn Yankees, yes, baseball has a heritage from long, long, long ago, and him hitting his 60th found a new respect for him as a player from the Dominican I think.  The World Series has a meaning to it Jap as well with Angel guy.  People from all over the world basically playing at their best.

But down in the 9th 8-4 with no outs he hits a solo home run and won't take congrats from the team.  Just we need the win against the triple A Pirates.  So next guy takes a walk, looks at the dugout with no outs and, it is the Pirates.

And so guess who wins?  Triple A team.  Nope.  But he cares more about a ring.  I respect that.  He cares a lot about the stat but like Bonds never getting one against the Angels and his stats Judge brought up even with the Maris family there, that is the mark.  No, no it isn't.

Not a Yankees hater anymore.  Great game.  Maybe to much of a break down.

Congrats Albert on 700 with two home runs last night.  700 isn't easy despite his shitty time in L.A.  On to the Hall of Fame and well deserved.  No positive tests for performance enhancing drugs.

Welcome to the first ballot hall of fame when that time comes.  Wish he would of been a Cardinal for life but money talks.  Good for him in every way.  L.A. and the Angels and how they run the team is garbage.  But glad to see him get it with St. Louis.  Can see why it is such a baseball city and no other pro sports there besides the NHL.  Great going out season.

Congrats Phillies.  Bryce still has a chance besides 100's of millions of dollars of winning a championship.

Will it happen, no.

Toronto and Cards.  I pity you.  Especially the Cards at home in a town that hates everything besides them and the NHL.  Phillie congrats as well as Seattle but it is minor leagues just waiting to play the big boys of the MLB.

Good luck!

6 in the ninth.  That is rough for the Cards.  That team has a lot of pride.

Why can't it be more like the NFL?  Some parity?  These games though fun or ultimately meaningless.  Glad they extended it best of three though.  Can't imagine rooting for your team all year and then making the playoffs and losing just one and out.

But am a Rockies fan so, whatever, good for them.

Was like yesterday.  No Dodger fan.

Still think they get it.  Is more fun than Halloween.  Going to a game that is the World Series.  Though as a Rockies fan I hate the owner more so win it Dodgers.  Give the N.L. some pride.  We got no parity with tthe Expos and the the strike.  We got have a payroll that is 200 million plus!

Dodgers there in L.A. end of the month and early November.  Freddie, franchise record in wins.  Get another ring.

Braves were something special last year.  Not this one despite how they are doing with WAR replacement who is doing good but not good enough.

Never seen a World Series game in my life so please do it.  If not whatever.  Best team wins as the big boys  pound the smaller ones.

Am so bored waiting for this end of October in oh so many ways.  Enjoy it people.

Toronto, sigh.  Place isn't cheap.  There is rough ways to lose and St. Louis and the Blue Jays, yeah.

Read San Fran is tired not getting a championship for a bit so they are going to go after Judge and Trea Turner.  Hope they get them.  Money is no problem in the MLB and the Giants payroll may equal that of the Dodgers in the offseason.

But the next matchups, some of them will be fun to watch.  Good for San Diego.  Seeing opening day there on vacation.  Time flies.

Giants spent $100 mill less than the Doyers this season so I'm not holding my breath.

Will see.  Is electric at Dodger Stadium just watching the highlights.  Think they go to the W.S. this year and will be there.  Watching a Dodgers game,  God that will cost a lot, but Halloween shows in L.A. as well can overuse my credit card a bit.  Is booked, just Dodgers need to make it to it.

In other MLB, Seattle and Houston.  That really sucked to me. Though that home run crushed like that I had to respect that.  On with life.

All the big boy teams won.  Shocking.  Thank God for that Expos MLB Players Union strike in the 90's.:hi:

4 game parlay.  Braves, blah.
