Homemade incubator for 19$ CAD

Hey everyone! I've been trying to find a way to maintain steady 28° temperatures in a cabinet without getting an incubator and I finally figured it out to a satisfactory degree.
It's honestly silly how easy it is, on Amazon you can buy 5 panel USB heat pads (meant to be sewn into clothing) that have three temperature settings built in.
Took a little bit of trial and error finding a wall adapter that was low wattage enough as to not overheat the cultures but I've got it working now so that the highest setting brings the temperature up to 29° on the bottom culture and 28.2° on the top culture.
Medium setting brings it down to 26° bottom and 25.8 top
Lowest 24° bottom 23.6 top.
Hopefully someone else can make use it!

The heat pads I used are these ones: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B086CCS3M4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_P63XQNZSDVY8FGYH2PV4

Just a heads up, your reflection is showing pretty clearly in the pic. I don’t know if you care about that but figured I’d mention it.
As for the heat pads, as long as your room isn’t below 18 C any type of heating isn’t necessary. You might gain some speed, but the risk of cooking your culture or conditions favorable to bacteria growth isn’t worth it in my opinion.
Also, anytime I’ve tried to get my petris warmer, all it’s done is increase the condensation.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm growing medicinals so not too concerned but I definitely didn't notice.
I haven't had issues with overheating yet, just increased speed of growth but that doesn't mean a contam won't outcompete the mycelium tomorrow haha
I've been storing them upside-down to deal with the condensation problem and it seems to be working just fine.
I'm just incredibly impatient 🙃 had to try haha

Do you have a link to the low wattage wall adapter you use? Or do you know what the wattage is?
