With closing out 2021 just want to give a major shout out to all my fellow shroomerites that killed it in 2021 and to all those who had no luck keep hunting 2022 is gonna be your year...Everyone be safe out there and let's get 2022 popping.

Hell yeah brother are you still around the area? Hell I don't know how but my front field is loaded with cincs I went out earlier and prolly placed 50+ sticks in the ground near clusters of pins so they can mature...Been here 8+ years and never knew they popped up in the field

so.. i know ive found assorted conocybes here in assorted weather and habitats, is there a reason to think that c.velutipes (or is it pholiotina and kuehneriana?), p.smithii, or  even c.silligineoides can't make occasional appearances around here? or they just require sequencing or microscopy to determine theyre not the toxic ones which would probably be multitudes more abundant anyways? which probably semi answers my own question lol

They seem to like colder climates, and are most common in states that aren't too far from Canada.    They have been found in Pennsylvania however - needs some DNA work to see if it's the same species.
