You don't need to worry about tape, holes, flame or alcahol sterilization between innoculations, its all overkill!
Just take the lids off one at a time when innoculating. I like to loosen them first so I can take them off and on with one hand while the other holds the syringe. Work quickly and in a clean area and you will have no problems.
If it works for me, it can work for you too!
