Harvesting the shoeboxes that I posted in the previous page was kind of PITA. Too many little fruits. I think I'll go back to spores and try to get a bigger pheno going...

Squirted 10cc of mvp lc into a slow growing nat jar, let's see if anything interesting happens.

Hmm, I thought crossing was mainly achievable when mixing spores (haploid) and not from already diploid mycellium. Can enough genetic exchange for crosses happen with diploid mycellium?

I'm not terribly concerned to be fair, just had this jar of slow spawn and some nice lc and just decided to see what happens.

I’d go for the thin one on the top right.
Checked the bottom of my shoebox to see if it had gotten through the liner and found some fireworks

That’s an awesome pic…. I notice that kind of thing in jars too - the mycelium is quite varied on these. Almost like you’ll always look like you have multiple different genetics no matter what.

Lol it took me over an hour and a half to harvest and clean all these little fruits from the four shoeboxes. I had just finished working at about 3 AM and had to stay up until 5 AM

Holy crap 1g fresh of Natalensis was too strong of a microdose this morning. I had some work to do on the PC and definitely felt the effects. They were not helpful either, mostly just distracting and 'tingling'.
edit: sorry if unrelated I just felt the need to share

1g is way too much for a microdose.
I tripped with some friends on 3g each of some of my Nats and it was amazing. When I say it was a challenging trip I don't mean psychologically, I mean it was challenging to walk 10m from the picnic table to the picnic blanket. Then it was real challenging to stop staring at the blanket as it started breathing and the fibers all turned into polyps of a giant coral reef that swayed in the breeze. I stared at that blanket for hours. Also had really vivid luminescent CEV.

1g fresh is pretty normal dosing for a microdose, that’d be around 0.1g dry

Haha I can relate to that! If you do manage to go for a walk in nature (I like large sand dunes at a remote beach) it's also an amazing and rewarding experience, at least for me it generally is. Perhaps a more energetic species like Tamps could be even better for this, I'll try this someday and report back.
BTW I managed to finish my work but the microdose did not really help with that. I'll have to go for 0.05 g dry next time maybe?

Always good to get more dosing experience in the thread especially with all the different types were seeing.

Finally got some pins popping. Not a big fan of that bruising though, looks pretty suspect.

I missed the fresh part too and thought 1g holy crap. Good to know though - thanks for posting it. 0.1g dried cubes would be a very normal cube microdose so sounds like these are indeed more potent. I've been doing 0.04g to 0.08g microdose with pans and it works great. 0.04g is ideal - I get a bit too amped on 0.08g.

Pretty sure this is just bruising but still being pretty new I’d really appreciate a second opinion. Been having to mist with the heater kicking on. This is a clone about 12 days in after spawning.
