I hope you have a kick ass 2022.
I can use a couple ovi prints if anyone can spare 2-3, I may have something to trade.

one of these days ima find voids on a log instead of galerina or pluteus, and theyll likely instantaneously become synonymous with my bowels (due to them emptying their contents in my pants), so if yall hear someone fwoofin around the woods wearing a diaper do not be alarmed.

you are spot on bro, those little tampanensis had some endgame magic. that little orange guy in the pic before it, was its days of apprenticeship. the small patch which miraculously appeared in my yard was pushing up crazy looking fruits here and there for a month or two which were stupidly potent for how small they were. like 5 or 6 of those fresh caerulescent tasting fellows provided awesomely bright closed eye visuals coupled with that enlightened brainstorming. i had a little tolerance built up from some avery's albinos at the time too. As much as id like to take credit, it was my girl that spotted the patch (even though i was doing all the research and legwork). but as much credit as she takes, i like to think it was the genuine goodwill of all you shroomerites collective consciousness hookin a brotha up!

I’ve read through several years of the ovoid threads and saw plenty of habitat pics, but most are in the spring when everything is alive and thriving. I am just trying to narrow down potential habitats. Is this area too swampy? There are some box elders present, but not in great quantities. We did just have loads of rain and this river did overflow a good bit, so it’s still not completely drained.

Psyched. I'm hoping to make my first find this year. Wonder when I should start looking in upstate/central NY. March-April after the rains maybe?
