oh yeah, i forgot to mention that this was the rye berries from ryches DB kit. does that make a difference? i noticed you said jars mcman. also, ihad an idea. i had this hand warmer thing. it gives off heat from this little package. do you think if i threw a bunch of them in the container vwith the rye berries it would help?

why don't you put your bags in bed with you at night ? your body heat should hatch those spores. or find a warmer place at least. i doubt they'll sprout at such low temps.

Ryche, thats good business practice. While your at it have you seen my post entitled "DB Project". What is your opinion on adding the extra spawning material? I like the kit and everything is working out pretty good. Colinization times on the rye berries are a little longer than expected: 11 days total. Not bad though.

Thats great Hawk. i always knew you were an honest guy despite all the shit some people say. Ill see if anything happens or if any growth does occur. ill wait a little longer cause i know that the temps are pretty low. would that result in no growth at all? by the way, they were from batch 32 and 33. Thanks Ryche.

The problem with those batches of ecuadors is they had to high of a bacteria count in them. Some yellowish funk that was inhibiting good healthy growth. For lower temps your trying to grow in, I would recommend B+ or tasmania cubs. They both do very well in cooler temps. Its warming up thought, how much longer will it be cold where you live :) peace
