**albino riptide genetics in the form of a tissue culture but the PEU will be MS; kind of a gray area but I'd like to include progress on this one as well
I was going to say we need to amend the rules. I was thinking about doing Enigma but it's culture only and the rules are outdated. It should be as long as you're starting on agar January 1st it should be okay.

I'll consider it. In years past there have been prizes for shit like: first pins, first veil to break, heaviest individual fruits, etc. which is why spores were required to serve as an equalizer of sorts. Since no prizes have been discussed yet (and are by no means a certainty) I don't see a reason not to allow it.
How about you go ahead and include your enigma (and riptide) but if any prizes are to be awarded for anything, 'live culture varieties' are not eligible. Does this seem fair?

Good, I'm glad that's settled. I felt way too much like a lawyer right there and didn't like it lol. Back to bein' my weird grungy self
Truthfully, I don't care WHAT y'all grow I just wanted everything to be fair *if* there were prizes involved. I'm not varietal-ist....I'll edit your entry to include enigma, multifractals page to include albino riptide and mine to include Ghost plate pins lol.

I don't need a prize for anything. I just think it would be interesting to document the process with some of these cultures. Thank you for taking on the huge task of running this thing.

Infinite Monkeys LAGM 2022I'll be growing: - PESA
- Avery's Albino (if the swabs germinate)
- True Albino Teacher (if the swabs germinate)
My goal is to achieve an isolate that forms even canopy and fruits prolifically. The path to the goal will be MS on Agar > S2B > Clone on agar > S2B > ? (Maybe cloning again). - 3 JanuaryIt has been hot here, the PESA have either started germinating or I have successfully cultivated some form of bacteria. The TAT/Avery's Albino plates are showing no signs of activity. 7 JanuaryI started 10 plates for each variety I'm growing. The PESA has taken off. The growth rate is slightly concerning. It would be a shame if this isn't mycelium. 11 JanuaryIt is very hot here. Many of my plates are contaminating. I'd like to attribute that to the heat but it's more likely to be poor sterile technique. One of 12 contaminated PESA T1 plates. One of the survivors. If the T2 is clean, she's going to grains. I don't understand why or how this PESA culture is growing so quickly. Is it possible that this is not cubensis mycelium? The swabs finally started germinating. TAT Avery's Albino Do these swab plates look okay? It's hard to tell because the mycelium is wispy. 17 JanuaryI wrote down the wrong date on these T2 plates. These are from 11 January. I put the best looking plate to 2 grain jars already. 29 JanuaryI tried grain soak agar for the first time. This is LME agar and millet grain soak agar. Each transfer came from the same origin plate. The LME agar produces rhizomorphic mycelium. The mycelium is also fluffy and aerial. In comparison, the grain soak agar produces very flat mycelium. All 3 plates have grown at the same rate, they are the same size. They've been sent to grain. I'm interested to see how the different agar types perform. I have 8 qt jars of PESA now. Now I will focus on growing a uniform TAT and AA culture on agar then send those to grain. 1 February

It's best to be drunk while performing disappearing acts. Ime anyway.
Tag me in. I have a print from 3+ yrs ago that may or mat not be puke on agar. And speaking of drinking...I also have a mysterious print sent to me in the mail with no label and I can't for the life of me figure out who it was from.
If the generous individual could let me know I would be doubley thankful.
I'll update when I know for sure what I'll attempt to grow
I may have been overlooked. I don't see muh name.

Thank drunk bigfoot...sober bigfoot had nothing to do with this shit lol.
I will write an addendum tomorrow..later today...before 2022 that allows Enigma, Riptide and other sporeless/live culture varieties to participate in LAGM but excludes transfers of normal shit...idk I'll write it fancier tomorrow...later today..whatever

Wanted to check something about the rules - I understand we must start from spores, but does it have to be to agar? We can't use BRF cakes? I ask because I use agar for 75% of my spore germination but syringes are always dirty so I use cakes for those in order to get fruits to clone from. Thanks.
