Fluffy layer on top of mycelium on agar, contam or no? (PICS)

Did some transfers recently from these germ plates (cubensis) in this post
Seems to grow nicely, but the surface consists of a fluffy layer of something. Could it be anything other than mycelium? Present on ALL my 8-9 transfer plates to a high degree. The pictures show 5 days worth of growth.
Plate 1 - pretty fluffy:

Plate 2 - mega fluffy (different angles make a big difference)

Cheers!

Yeah that's just mycelium. Those plates actually look pretty healthy. Cube mycelium can show both tomentose (fluffy) and rhizomorphic (ropey) growth. Nice job

What was your agar recipe?
Whenever I use the standard 500 ml water to 10 gram agar/ 10 gram LME, my plates do the same thing.
Those plates look pretty good.

That's the recipe I used also (with a few drops of food coloring as well).

Those two transfer were the most successful ones. I'd appreciate it if someone could look at these that to me look less successful.
What I'm most curious about is the glassy looking edge on these photos. In the OP, such a glassy ring is not visible.
The reason it scares me is because it looks a lot like what I get on spore germ plates right before the mycelium growth stops. So I'm guessing it is bacteria?
This is my spore plate I didn't use that's like 3 weeks old now. Just made new germ plates though and they develop the same film within days.

It not as visible on a photo but you can clearly see the edge of the reflective film that has grown out, stopping the mycelium from expanding.
I wonder if this type of film is the same as we can seen on my other plates (also, what is it? Bacteria?):

Even the nice ones could be transferred a time or two more imo

Yeah, I plan on doing more transfers but will also inoculate some grain spawn with it. Worst case - I get some practice.
What do you reckon when it comes to the not so nice ones in the pictures?

Just keep transferring from the good sides till you don't see weirdness
-------------------- Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here. ------------------- Have some medicinal mushrooms and want to get the most out of them? Try this double extraction method.

In other words, edges like that are weird, or at least could be. Seems like the sensible thing to do, I'm on it!
