yeah, the ESv300 rocks my 2x4. i like it better than my HLG 550 rspec. but thats for a bigger tent anyway. i feel like if i had 2 ESv300 in the 4x4 it would grow better than the 550rspec. idk. i like them both.
thanks anyone who entered thru my link. if i win i would do a giveaway on here because i dont really need the light and that would be cool to do i think,.

ok so here is a few pics of my stuff.

jawa pie

Strawberry banana auto

Crude Fuel clone put in cloner 11/14 and picture was today 12/18

only has one main root. tap root. not much other, there is some bumps that dont really grow yet.

there are 3 of these Gorilla Cookies Auto
the biggest autos ive grown yet. the two look big, but then you throw in the 3rd one and its big and bent over at the main top

the smaller 2 are 24inches tall and the tall one is 30 inches

id say the gorilla zkittles was probally 24-28inches tall when i grew her.

Fiiiinally got some pics uploaded lol...

I always lag on posting pics, pretty much only ever do so after my grow has been harvested and finished entirely.

"MAC1"....It was my smallest plant. Tons of oily resin though, the flowers are primo. Unique aroma, kinda floral and yeasty/bread-like, musty yet mildly sweet. It has a really nice uplifting/smooth high, not too heavy/sedating for me, not quite energetic but it gets my head space zingin', good day smoke. One of the nicest highs I've had in a while, I really enjoy MAC and will grow it again and will be on the look for some MAC crosses my next time around. I really like the essence/aroma it has and the high, and the amount of resin is pretty ridiculous.

"Wedding Cake"....This clone was given to me for free as "Wedding Cake". I got a clone of WC from the same dude last year and it had somewhat different characteristics compared to the "WC" I grew this time around. This "WC" in the pics doesn't have as much of the classic creamy/buttery/vanilla "cake" aroma that I associate with "cake" strains, it also didn't turn nearly as purple as the WC I grew last year...It was still a very dank plant with a lot of large flowers complteley frosted in resin. The aroma was a mild gassy/chem with some slight sweet floral notes, not a very complex or super loud aroma. Not a lot of flavor...Lots of resin, good potency, and a nice balanced high though.

These next two are the WC during early flowering, in the morning after some rain showers passed by...pics can't do justice to how vibrant the flowers/resin was in the morning sunshine, it was poppin'...

"Kush Cake" (Wedding Cake X Animal Mints)....Now this plant has a lot more of the classic "cake" aroma/characteristic going on that I am familiar with. The cake aroma/character is very distinct, but it also has a lot of classic "kush" notes/aroma going on. To me the essence of this strain is a perfect blend of cake, kush, and cookies, I can totally smell and taste its heritage/parents....Gassy race fuel/acetone, sweet vanilla cream, earthy kush, flowers/floral incense, skunk/dank...Just a straight up a classic "sweet kush" aroma...When I was harvesting this plant the resin was so damn "loud" and gassy/pungent smelling, it straight up smelled like the exhaust from a top fuel engine (for anyone that's been to drag races/smelled exhaust from nitromethane lol), or like high octane race fuel/gasoline/acetone, it reminded me of being at the race track lol.

After drying/curing the aroma become more rich/complex but it is still pretty damn gassy and skunky. This is the most flavorful herb I've ever grown too, it actually coats my mouth with flavor and the flavor persists for a while when smoking a joint. The smoke is thick/dense/expansive and oily (my lips and tongue become sticky from a single bong rip lol), but it is ultra smooth, like I exhale massive thick/white clouds of oily smoke but the toke is buttery smooth. The high starts off with a little "perk"/uplifting, slightly cerebral/jovial, but ultimately is a relaxing/mellow/somatic type high. Doesn't make my head too cloudy though, doesn't totally "wreck" me if I smoke it during the day.

Ice Cream Cake....I had to pull it a bit early because I was seeing signs of mites along the lower portion of the plant and didn't want em' to spread into the tops. Really wish I could have let it go a bit longer. This plant turned beautiful colors towards the end. It's aroma had a note upfront that reminded me of a sour-cherry slushy/icee, followed by a creamy/milky floral essence with a touch of gas. For a little while the fresh resin on the plant reminded me very much of the strain "Forbidden Fruit".....I kinda goofed up the dry/cure on this plant, let it sit out and dry out for too long before trimming/jarring...The dry flowers have a really nice aesthetic tho, swollen exposed calyxs with splashes of dark purple contrasted with bright white frosting of resin. It has a nice mellow high. Starts off a bit uplifting but mellows up quickly into a nice stone.

Beautiful plant though!...It's a popular strain but I wouldn't mind growing it again and trying to grow it better, I really like the aroma it has.

"Granimals X ?"....This plant was grown from a seed that I found in some "Granimals" that I grew last year (Granimals = Grape Pie X Animal Cookies). The aroma it has is pretty similar to the Granimals it came from, tho a little less of the cookie/spice essence....Has sweet & tart & sour notes of grapes juice & berries, but also some pine and some slight "spice"...I looove the aroma it has, and it has some good pronounced flavor too (probably the 2nd most flavorful plant I grew this year). It has a flavor that is super nostalgic for me (brings me back to some herb I used to smoke in my early days)....The high though, something about the buzz/high I'm not a fan of. It kinda has an "edge" to it and makes me a bit scatter-brained feeling where I'm kinda stimulated and don't know what to do and can't think straight. Just a nervous/anxious type of energy to it...which is unfortunate becuase I love the aroma & flavor so much.

"Vanilla Frosting X ?"....Grown from a seed that I found in some "Vanilla Frosting" (Humboldt OG X Gelato) that I grew last year....While it was growing the flowers had an aroma that was somewhat similar to the VF I grew last year. A gassy sweet/vanilla (different from wedding cake tho) essence, at one point the flowers kinda reminded me of root-beer/sassafras...I goofed up the dry/cure on this plant too. Let it dry out a little too much, it lost a lot of it's essence/aroma. The buds are pretty resinous though and look good. It feels like some potent smoke though, nice mellow/balanced high. Just doesn't have much "character" as far as aroma/flavor/high goes.

Some pics from the very last night of harvesting, mostly the top colas from Kush-Cake....

I hang/dry in my closet lol (I love marinating in the dank smells when I sleep at night lol)...I've got like 7 or 8 lines of twine in there, a small fan keeping air circulating through, I keep my bedroom window open most of the day/night...Temps were around 60 to 65 for the most part while drying, got up to 68 a few times. I had some donky dick colas hanging up in there this year lol.

A lower/side bud of the "Kush Cake".

Chonky donks...

Trichomes dusting my trimming board

Some more gifts of the season....

Jesus those are huge colas. Your yard must smell amazing all fall.

Had a few new things going on today.
I

First my double chocolate fem pollen worked way better than I had hoped. This is from one bud where I just pinched a couple flowers and rubbed them on the bud. The clone I painted a few times should be loaded, not to mention the Sativa.

Kinda ruined the bud more than I thought though. I pollinated it early on so the bud looked normal outside but inside were these clusters of seeds with a thick cord type thing connecting them. Almost exactly like grapes. Definitely wasn’t expecting like 70 seeds just from one little bud.

Then I went and got a hair straightener to try making rosin. I could not believe how quick and easy it was. Literally like 20 seconds from opening the straightener it was ready.

Pressed a little bit of dry sift.

Smells and tastes amazing but made me choke like a bitch.

Is the stuff leftover from pressing hash any good? It still looks and smells like hash just less than I started with.

Congrats aka. I know making your own seeds from all the work we do to get them is satisfying.  Good job.

I have a jar filling up with like 15 pressed sift wafers.
Idk either. Maybe cooking or even crumbled in a bowl. Idk

Make RSO with them... thats my plan, at least... lol. Now that I have an actual press, I'm gonna have to figure out how to recycle that part... got a whole gallon bag of pucks...

Outstanding OM, glad to see so many happy plants!

I've noticed the variability in what people are calling "wedding cake" is similar to blue dream.

Both are a clone only "strain" that has been "reproduced" by selfing, bagseed, ect.  There is only one original plant and tons of imposter cuts floating around.  I grew a bagseed from a wedding cake QO I bought in washington and it turned out more like WC than most WC cuts.

Honestly it looked a lot like your Ice cream cake.

Man you guys all have so many plants going.

Figured I’d throw this up here. Took me a while but this is how my FIMs look now.

Initially the middle one was just a little bit of leaf. I’ve had them turn from a shred of leave to sometimes three tops just in the middle there, then the two normal ones you’d get from topping.

I just found fimming very confusing for a long time so maybe this’ll help somebody.

Hey aka,
have you ever heard of monster cropping clones? its a clone that is taken from a plant that has already started flowering, and it has to to reveg and when it does every calyx turns into a branch! It’s s awesome, it just take a little extra time.

nice variety roarkell. how is that GGXL cross grow?

yeatster- clean set up. i like it. looks nice and neat. yours to roarkell.

i feel like im sorta messy. idk.

ive monstercropped a few. i have a mimosa evo clone starting to do its weird reveg now. trying to figure what it wants to do. i dont give my clones in cups much nutrients because i dont have room or space yet for them. im stalling until things are done.

Lol I feel you in stalling in cups.

I actually have a couple monster cropped triple cheese out in the yard. It definitely looked really weird at first.

These plants are pretty resilient, I’ve got some clones fully rooted in coir in solos that I haven’t watered in over a month and they’re still alive somehow. They’re just starting to die off finally.

That GGXL is the back one that just got put in the big tent... healthy and vigorous!

The other 4 getting flipped with it are a 2x2 experiment... all 4 are fem seeds, Mango Sherbert by Humboldt Seed Co, the two in on the right are in Botanicare's new "living" soil and the other two are in the Purple Cow that ive been using...

Gonna hopefully do some pollen chucking later today... ive got 2 Ghost Puncher plants I wanna hit with some of the Zombified pollen... I should've never started playing with pollen.... every plant that gets flipped now is like, "what will this make??"

Is that why they call yall the pheno hunters? I've never seen such a high ratio of breeders among amateurs. I've been growing for 5-6 years and still feel very far from comfortable breeding. I feel like I need to master growing before I can truly pick out phenos, otherwise I won't be seeing their full potential. Strains can vary so much too it often takes me at least 3 runs to dial one in. It's different to see you guys cycling through genetics and filials like it's a slot machine, but can hardly get a plant through 8 weeks without burning the leaves up. Hope no one gets offended by that I'm not trying to be mean. Experience will come with practice, I guess it's fine to get breeding practice while learning to grow.

Really nice plants OM! A great final flourish for that location.

Gotta get that experience in at some point, might as well kill two birds with one stone and learn while growing your own stuff like you said.

I’m curious how efficient this hair straightener is compared to a press. I guess I should weigh the weed and the rosin next time, but visually does this look like too small of a return??

Threw a couple lcxcn popcorns in.

I think my folding still needs a lot of work too, I feel like a lot is stuck in the packet.
