A question abt Maynards wine....

Is it really as good as advertized? (Seriously considering dropping some coin on it for my cuz whos a huge Tool/APC fan for his 21st birthday/Cmas gift ). And if so Which kind do you recommend ?

not sure about the wine as ive never tried that cellar (caduceus ) though im sure its fine , another option (as a big tool fan myself) would be an alex grey art print or something else from his online shop.

I'll be honest, I've only had 2 bottles. Both were the 2018 Chupracabra red blend. First bottle I found a couple hours away from home earlier this year, great wine! Specifically remember nice deep notes of cherries. About 2 months back a local beer/bottle shop got a few different varieties. I tried the same wine and was less than pleased. Dry, flat, a smoky.
I'd definitely try again, especially because the second go around, the wine was stored on a wall in 75+heat when I bought it. I'm not typically an avid wine connoisseur, but I'd say the poor handling contributed to that experience because that first bottle was well worth it.
