discovered coffee today
    #2757528 - 06/02/04 06:24 PM (12 years, 7 months ago)

the past while I've been feeling pretty shitty.  Not depressed shitty.... just boring, nothing to say, dumbed down.... that kinda stuff.  I never really drank coffee before (was a caffeine feind with pop in high school, so when I quit that I tried to stay away from caffeine).... but I get free coffee at work (7-11) so I figured why not, couldn't hurt just this one time.

BAAAAZSHOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM

After half the cup was down, I felt FANTASTIC.  My mood was 10x better, I was ready to work.... it was great.  I wasn't juiced up and bouncing off the walls, I just felt *good*.

Is this bad?  It's so great to feel like I did months ago before I started feeling funky (I don't know why I did start feeling that way, nothing bad happened in my life or anything).

Anyway....  I think I'm now destined to become addicted to coffee.  And I don't care, because I feel grrrrreeeeeaaaaat.

I always felt this country's backbone is supported by coffee.

Can't drink it though because of health reasons :frown:

Coffee addiction is pretty nice. I like flavored coffees, and had a awesome blueberry one today. I wish my local coffee spot had that stuff. Oh yeah, and dunkin doughnuts sucks.

I like strong tea better than coffee, but both are good. Earl Grey is delicious though

I love coffee and tea- I probably drink at least 5 cups of tea a day. It keeps my brain stimulated.

After half the cup was down, I felt FANTASTIC. My mood was 10x better, I was ready to work....

that's why it's given for free at work, it makes mindless repetative tasks bearable to do for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, year round... i actually never tried coffee before, i don't like the smell of it. ( the beans smell nice but not the coffee  :crazy2: )

limit your intake to two shots or drinks a day (assuming you weigh like 160). Don't drink any after 5 PM. Coffee is good shit. Tomorrow I get a http://www.toddycafe.com/. I like how they have the 6 year old there worshipping a cup.

 Have you heard Terence McKenna talk about coffee? He says the same thing. I still love it though. I do at least drink organic and fair trade usually.

chodamunky's right (nice name btw)... employers give it for free because it's an investment. Employees have been proven to be more productive on caffeine.

well my 711 sells a lot of coffee, we have 7 pots available for customers at any given time.... I dont see my co-workers drinking it much, but I just go and grab free cups from the machine. I wont have more than 2 a day, but I think I'm gonna buy myself a coffee maker from goodwill or something.... would be nice to have it handy.

Hooray for addictions!

If you haven't already, go to an Asian grocery store and get some MR. BROWN ICED COFFEE! It is the shiznat.

Here's a picture for reference. I suggest everyone to go get some:

Beware, it's VERY addictive. I can go through 12 cans in one sitting (they're pretty small though).

Also: be prepared to waste a lot of money at Starbucks.

I've always hated the taste of coffee. I've never drank more than a few sips, hehe.
