Found these Atlanta ITP close to where they plan to cut down the forest to build a police practice city and recording or film area. Hope we can save this sacred forest!

Only found these 3, but who knows someone else could have found others before me. Quite potent, could feel noticeable effects after splitting 1.4g wet with my gf. 1.4g wet. I cannot believe it.

Yesterday November 14, 2021 around 4:20pm high of 56. The soil was damp and the area was covered in briers and blackberries. Saw a turkey tail nearby as well as some odd mycelium all over the box elder logs. Wasn't ovoid mycelium to my knowledge, looked like white foam was sprayed but it was definitely mycelium.

Mushrooms are my sacrament and they have told me to spread the word about their existence for all to experience who wish to commune with the holy wholeness.

Yeah, it seems like all the factors have to come together perfectly to find them around here

I've given up trying to search floodplains. Instead, I aim for areas with a lot of mulch, especially if it's near a stream. Mulched hiking trails, public gardens, dog parks, etc.

Is it possible for ovoids to fruit at a spot in the fall, but not in the spring? I'm curious to see if that patch I found will fruit in the spring. It seemed like they were utilizing the dead leaves for shade.

I suppose but generally if they fruit somewhere in the fall they will be there in the spring

I think you have found Ps cyanescens most likely.  Nice find though.

I also thought the waviness of the caps resembled cyans, but this is in Massachusetts. As far as I know, its pretty unheard of to find cyans around here. I'd definitely like to hear some more opinions

Yeah they're definitely cyans after looking at some pictures of them. I'm pretty surprised, I didn't think they could grow around here.

Which area of MA? I was just up on the southeast size Thanksgiving week. I only get to go up there life once a year but haven't thought to hunt actives while visiting.
